Religion will never end simply because people need something to give their life meaning.Usually this meaning is given by hating other religions

religion was the basis for government, people often need to be steered into a direction or we would likely just be monkeys flinging shit at one another (we still can be viewed in such a light, but thankfully its not absolute) so, as much as i i hate to promote the merits of religion, it does have a place in the progression of humanity and like anything else can be abused or perverted into depictions of falsehood which can lead to far more worse things than the good it can achieve
