I once read a very interesting observation about why the whole "cuck" thing is so popular these days. Basically this whole generation has grown up watching SO MUCH internet porn. I think it's mostly the strong emotions that are associated with it.
Looking at a static picture or porn on a screen can feel very distant from the viewer. I personally hate any type of powerplay or physical/emotional domination irl, but am still more than usual aroused at rape shit gook cartoons.
