Eikaiwa starts at about $2500 a month right. I currently make $4500 as a manager/BDO at one. I also have private lessons that supp my income about $2000 more a month. I'm 32 right now, but when I was 25-30 I also worked weekends as a fake marriage pastor. That job made absolute bank, but consumes your weekend.

Do you use renshuu.org to track your progress? According to that website, you will need to learn roughly 3000 words to pass N3. Also consider all the grammar and kanji you will need to drill, and all the listening practice.
