You can tell Eddie thinks he has something interesting to say or ask, but all he's doing is tangenting the guests away from their points and making them get into little irrelevant fights that he's picked.

In my opinion, he's the reason many interviews go sideways and become just a half our of people contesting little points and talking over each other.

Rogan talks over people but when he does he at least has a valid point or he's doing it TO GET THE GUEST BACK ON TRACK rather than tangent them away from what they're talking about.

Rogan and Standhope are both miles funnier and smarter than Corolla and Kimmel.... however it was early in Rogan/Stanhope's careers and that formula just didn't work as well for them, perhaps a bit to formulaic.

Rogan always has a lot of interesting stuff to say and is pretty well informed on social issues. Stanhope has a lot to say and hilareous delivery.... but they're at their best doing their own thing. A formulaic low brow humor show wasn't ideal for them like it was for Corolla and Kimmel...

Also, I haven't watched those since the late 90s, where do you even find them these days.
