Nope, meth is good for much longer than crack and isn't the "I need more right now" drug crack is. This makes crackhead behavior much more disgusting as they're much more likely to beg, borrow, and steal for more (and virtually all of them do all 3 every day).

Meth can be a much cheaper habit. You can get a g for 60 bucks and EASILY have that g last a week (and honestly be a bit too much). So people *usually* use within their means. I've only knew one meth head that was doing the beg borrow and steal thing that ALL crackheads do.

Another thing is many methheads usually have their lives under control, outside of the drug use of course. Most you would never know do it. Normal dudes that work way harder than most at some type of physical blue collar professions. Often the type of dudes that volunteer to work the 60 hour overtime weeks.

Don't get me wrong, there's meth ghouls that have sold every part of their life and dignity away for more meth, it just seems, due to the methheads I met that they at least DO have a job (unlike the typical crackhead that's either unemployed or hangs on to jobs for just a few weeks at a time).


And most methheads are good with .1 g in a pipe for 24+. A little goes a long way. Which is the polar opposite of crack that .1 is about 2 hits which get you high for 5 minutes and you immediately need more for maintenance.
