Some people here in Finland say that it is not true and they say they have friends who live in those zones and they are as peaceful places as ever.

OP have you ever considering the reason why they say they are safe it is because those people who are safe are the people who invaded?
You can make anything look good (even statistic) depending on how you look at it.
It's like America does with housing and unemployment problems.
