However; their commentary and interviews are complete and total shit.
They try too hard to be balanced, even if the facts don't support the claim.
They don't want to seem like a voice piece for the right or the left, so they go out of their way not to challenge either side and simply report exactly what they say, without any fact checking.
That was CNN for the last decade plus anyways, seems they are trying to go in a different approach now with the Jake Tapper stuff. I guess we will see, but my bet is they will go back into hibernation once a mainstream corporatist comes into power; like a Reagan, Clinton, Bush, or Obama.

At this point though, does it really matter? CNN and most of the other big 6 media outlets are dead men walking. They haven't got the needle in their arm yet, but they are going to die. We know it. They know it. Wall Street knows it.

That is why they chose this election to drop the act and just went full blown DNC campaign arm. What have they got to lose? The ship is sinking regardless, future reputation means zero.

CNN did their best at violating all ethical controls that actual news programs and journalists are supposed to live by.

On paper they should be reporting the facts and telling the story as unbiased as possible. In reality they willingly joined the story as an active participant attempting to destroy Trump.

And like ALL his other foes, they assumed they were smarter than him, made fun of his hair and called him a racist.

Trump responded by kicking over the domino that will lead to the collapse of CNN.
