I've met 2 guys who were career students with 5+ degrees...
They are useless as people. Couldn't do much of anything, won't touch any real work even for themselves.
They were all "MUH INTELLECTUAL PURSUIT!!!"
Both were basically stupid trustfund babies.
First was a pain in the ass when I was hired to remodel a room for him, I was in college at the time. Terrible client, demanding weird ass things like only stainless steel screws for the drywall, wanted "water-free plaster", for me to use yarn to sew the carpet sections together, and I often came in to find my work taken apart by him(he ruined the plastered drywall many times), then bitched about the final cost!
The second was brought by an employee into my machine shop (dumbfuck thought he was authorized to bring in a "consultant"), and he started going an about how 3DPRINTERS IS ALL YOU NEED, reciprocating saws are better than bandsaw, CNC is 70's tech and 'no longer needed', and "welding is overrated". WTF?
