Biggest anime mistake you made > Waste my time on 700 episodes

I stopped following somewhere in the 500s. I miss One Piece a lot but I know I'd regret it if I ever tried to go back. The pacing is absolutely unbearable.

>spending high school savings (all of $200) on clothes to look like Greed
>manage to find black denim vest (no fur yet), black zip-up boots, and a fuck ton of cheap black jeans/sleeveless shirts/fitted t-shirts
>rip fur off one of mom's winter coat hoods, hot glue this to collar of vest
>look homeless
>buy huge bottle of cheap hair gel
>wear this exact outfit all the time
>be fat during weeb phase, even the slimming power of black clothes doesn't hide my dad bod
>don't know how to do laundry yet, have to rewear shirts/pants all the time
>gelled hair makes me look like my mom does my hair
>efforts to be badass and edgy blow up in my face
>wind up stuttering every time someone asks about my outfit

Starting Naruto, thinking it would be good. Instead of ninjas, got a shittier dbz. Dropped it like a log in the toilet. I will never get that time back...

Never started One Piece, could tell from the beginning it was going to be dragged out for fucking ever and not get anywhere. From what I hear, I was right.

Often times, it's because the anime was merely an extended advertisement for a manga or light novel. It pisses me off to no end.
