What is your connection speed b/ ?
I saw an ad for google fiber and now I feel like I live in Africa with my shitty 10mpbs, 200ms connection
I get around 300 down, 200 up on tests, but in real use its still pretty fucking slow and i dont get it, around 15 mbps down on steam and it bounces all over the place

Probably electric interference.. try changing to optic fiber and it should be more stable.

I feel your pain brother
Yup shafted with paying as much as people with 100Mb down. I pay for 50 and get 10 on a good day, I've tried everything and calling them gets the ole loop around. One day the told me it was the Ethernet cables fault. It was a cat6A... They gave me a rental combo modem router because mine was incompatible with them and they refused to activate it. My connection isn't even stable it disconnects every 30-45 minutes. It's so maddening but they're the only service provider in my area. They even have 1 star on yelp... it sucks so much, you would think when other places have such high speeds I could get close to that but why update infrastructure when you run a monopoly.
Need Google Fiber over here

>Paying for Sprint or T-mobile
>Expecting good service
Prioritize your finances and get a real carrier poor fag
goddamn, I didn't think mine was that good

Had better speeds when we had Verizon, fuck frontier.

10 down, 1 up, 20ms ping for $90
It sucks. I live in an area where my ISP has a government sanctioned monopoly on broadband so I can't even switch if I wanted to, which I do.
>tfw french optic fiber deployment is a mess
>tfw my whole city is covered except for my path

For real this isn't 2000, it's bs they can do this and the companies that do are always down right shit. If anything the government should force them to update infrastructure so we as a country aren't so behind and vulnerable. But better yet they should stay out of the internet and isps but that's another conversation.
