a gun is cool, but can't imagine getting one illegally without getting raped. And probably will be unable to transport it anywhere, so starting to look like a waste of money.
How hard would it be to get one on the down low (that's gangster talk, for illegitem-o)

Knife is next best choice. Or pepper spray.
