I have a 3.85 too and have participated in tons of other bullshit. Have gotten like 20 other internship offers for this summer already but none are what I had my eyes on.

Aside from me having a shitty resume or something, it is my belief that they get so many fucking applications that they don't get around to all of them

Everytime I've gotten denied from a positions, it's said "The position has just been filled"
