That plug is used so you can get that sweet 230v instead of ur shitty 120ish v
>>722537145
That's why it's only allowed on low powered machines.
>>722537137

>>722537137

>>722537145
protective insulation
>>722536770
I second this, Pretty much every country in Europe use this plug, except UK which uses a Triangular shaped plug
>>722537137
It'll fit in the swiss, italian and danish ones too. i've been to all three, and had no problems.
Fucking nigger
>>722537137
amazing thing is, the EU-plug is the best plug and if you think anyting else you're retarded and douesn't know anything about electrical engineering
Wlan shower head
>>722538210
That's awesome! where can I get one?
>>722536662
>What cuntry
A normal one
>>722538150
I live here retard, and yea it is the best. Fuck you.
>>722536662
universal adapter?
>>722538150
why? i know nothing about electrical engineering. i saw a Tom Scott video about the UK one that seemed pretty convincing once.
>>722538272
any HUNfags?
>>722537145
it doesnt need to be grounded if its RCD protected.
>>722538474
nope, the EU (german style, also swedish) have the earth"pinns" that holds it in place,it gets connected with the earth first and also doesn't fall out as easy. It also has a safety "lid" that prevents children to put, lets say a fork in the hole. (you need to put something in both holes att the same time for it to open) and alot more, its smart as fuck
>>722539036
Cool. Here, we just teach our children not to stick forks in outlets.
Danish probably. It's not grounded so just cut off the plug and splice on the one you want.
>>722539144
true, but we don't need to do that anymore
It's factually Dutch.
The print on it says 'Kema Keur' which is Dutch.
It's a superior European plug.
>>722539144
kek
>teach our children not to stick forks in outlets
poorfag
>>722539144
Here we know how to make more children
>>722536662
France
>>722539036
All of those are in the UK one, and are arguably better in terms of electricity insulation and grounding.
What about his plug?
>>722536784
It's not European, UK is in Europe and it nothing like a UK plug here. It's probably EU. Glad we left that shithole :))
>Flimsy faggot niggerplug
>>722539832
Fuck off Nigel.
>>722539890
>butthurt dumb remainer detected
lol
>>722536662
Looks danish.
>>722539978
Read the fucking thread, IT'S DUTCH.
>>722539832
Fucking britbong
>>722539672
>arguably better in terms of electricity insulation and grounding
wrong again, your pinns doesn't hold it in place and you have no hole which can result in a loose contact and start a spark. I won't defend the french/russian socket thought
>>722537137
The danish grounded plug will still take the one in ops picture. Some appliances requires grounding, some don't.
>>722539640
Vive Israƫl et vive la France !
>>722540031
Holland and Denmark have compatible plugs, little to no difference really.
>>722540425
I know, but just for fact's sake.
>>722540679
You were right though, I hadn't read the thread, I just answered off the cuff.
>>722540785
Fair enough, appreciate you saying this.
>>722540898
No problem, it's a very little thing to admit, so I would be an idiot to refuse it.
>>722539622
kek
>>722541041
You are a man amongst men.
>>722541095
That was the answer a police friend of the family got when he asked the driver of a stopped car why his kids in the backseat weren't wearing their seat belts.
We have those in sweden
>>722541196
You seem very appreciative over a little thing.
Have you had a bad day or something anon?
>>722541467
I have a pretty strong hangover, so that could be a thing, but moreso I do really appreciate it when someone is able to notice the smaller things in life.
>>722541639
Have you made sure to ingest some salt, potassium and water? They're pretty good for hangovers.
But yeah, don't mention it, I believe in being honest about stuff.
>>722537145
It's for a double-insulated device. There's no need for a ground plug if none of the parts of the machine you can physically touch are conductive and/nor can have mains voltage on them.
>>722538474
The UK plug ground pin can still electrocute you in case of ground fault, and doesn't hold in the socket as good as a proper 3 pin EU or Schuko.
>>722541836
Thanks, I did. I feel slightly better. Do you get a lot of hangovers?
czech rep
>>722543188
No not much anymore. I rarely drink nowadays.
When I was a barman in London, I used to drink a lot to calm down after a stressful day. This has basically connected stress with alcohol in my mind, so I don't really enjoy it that much anymore.
I prefer smoking a joint if I go to parties. I might drink a few beers, but I rarely get drunk.
I also started having three day hangovers after getting to my 20's, so it's a hassle.
>>722536662
pretty sure thats Swiss without ground
typically, swiss plugs will fit in european sockets, but european plugs wont fit in swiss sockets, because Switzerland
>>722542207
Never mind it's fucking huge and can have fuses hidden inside. But hell, Brits like defending their shitty ring wiring, too.
>>722539890
Nigel having designed the UK mains and plugs wiring makes an awful lot of sense.
EU, bigger one is grounded, both use the same outlet. Also Czechfag here
>>722543589
Nice. The plug is for a set of sweet hair clippers.
