yea I would have loved to live over here sooner but didn't even know it existed. I was looking at houses in Old Rosedale Gardens when on a whim I took grand back to 39 to go back to the east side and started driving through the neighborhoods.

The market wasn't quite what it is now in the neighborhood so people were not selling at the time otherwise I would have tried to be in North Rosedale, or waited a little longer.

Would have loved growing up over here, though East English Village wasn't bad then either, just much more middle class housing stock

Growing up in that area was a pretty great experience and we really didn't have to deal with too much shit, which is surprising with Brightmoor so close. I had my tires stolen twice and my car stolen not long after that about three years ago, that was about the time I got the fuck out. IDK I think it depends on the time frame. Brightmoor is fucking gone, have you been through the area recently? Theres less than 100 houses between Outer to schoolcraft, and Evergreen to woodcrest. So whatever was there was supposedly much worse than it is now.

I take Fenkell west towards telegraph for a few things and use the Redford USPS for packages etc. and Mincok Park has as much rehab going on as Rosedale. Same can be said for Sandhill neightborood of Old Redford.

Parkside, Eliza Howell, and Warrendale are the only nieighborhoods that are really fucked up currently and I have a feeling the Arabs will start buying up Warrendale as Dearborn continues to swell in population.

In the two years I've lived here I have had no issues, no break ins, no tires stolen, but I have a feeling the neighborhood now is a fuckload different than it was.

Less kids, less community. Those are the things I've noticed coming back (my parents still live there). Granted my experience is limited, but coming through there you see a lot less community interaction. The block parties used to be a major thing for almost every block in the neighbourhood, but you see it a lot less now. Artesian doesn't do it at all.
