I was in the process of adopting a close friend's daughter when he and his wife died in a wreck. I didn't really want to. I was her foster dad for a while. I pretended to be disappointed when they found an estranged relative (2nd cousin) that was the family type to give custody to.

Getting there, part of what made me uncomfortable about it. She also had a crush on me. Easy to ignore when she was my friend's kid while he was alive. I want to adopt as well, but sadly the pedo faggots ruined it for all of us. As a single male, you are more likely to conceive your own child than be allowed to adopt one. Even one who really needs it. Not to mention that almost any home is better the the group homes.
