What are your honest thoughts on modern meme culture?

right now its pretty fucking gay, with classic cancer such as "Saltbae" "Cash me outside" and people still glorifying that fucking gorilla.
Plus the new spawn of satan, AKA Trash Dove.
With Gabe the Dog dying, along with the WSHH creator, I think 2017 may just be the year of the normies.

I haven't laughed at a meme since 2012

I can enjoy an acutal good depressing meme, but now its just overused "kill me" garbage depression memes from i funny and shit. Its rare to see actual quality or witty remarks in a good meme.
