>no fluffy thread
Lets change that.
baws no hurty no moah
Looks like some radioactive post-apocalypse out there boyos.
For those here in the thread, I need your opinion on something. I was going to make an account on fluffybooru, and want to know if that's a good idea, considering the current drama. Also, I want to know if what I'm going to write (can't draw for shit) about sounds cool.
I'm hoping to do request-based reenactments of battles, of any period, with fluffies.
Basically, the main character inherited a big estate out in Montana, in the foothills of the Rockies. This way there is varying terrain for battles, between the mountains and the great plains. Also, if the inheritance seems forced I might make the character ex-HasBio who was one of the first scientists on the fluffy project who quit after Cleveland so the blame wasn't placed on him, rather than PETA for releasing them and HasBio for making them.
He also inherited a shit ton of cash, so he can finance his personal fantasy of full fluffy war.
Anyways, any suggestions would be great. I'm gonna try to get the page up by the months end, but I can only write on the weekends due to school.
>I was going to make an account on fluffybooru, and want to know if that's a good idea
The question is academic, as they appear to have disabled registration.
Eventually they should allow registration again. Meanwhile, for the politely persistent, they may allow some exceptions. You'll have to find that path on your own.
My only advice is that you maintain your anonymization. Do not connect your account with anything that can be tracked back to you. If you keep your anonymity intact it matters not if your story is shot down.
Now I have a question. Anyone here check in with home base on "two by four" chan?
Go ahead. I've had nice time in the Booru too, simply because I ignore the dramas.
Now that anonymous posting is disabled the most toxic element is gone, but it's a good advice in general to only take the positive feedback to the heart. If anyone has something worthwhile to say, they'll say it in a constructive way.
Thanks for the encouragement, will definitely try to get it up with first story this weekend. However, if any of you have suggestions related to my content/story ideas, that'd be awesome.
Lord Of The Rings. He accurately recreates all the battles in the Lord of the Rings using Fluffy Soldiers, starting with the Battle of the Last Alliance, and ending with the Siege on the Black Gate.
Okay, I meant historical battles. Whether it he Thermopylae, Verdun, Khesan, or Yorktown, I just want to reenact wars with fluffies. I'm very new to the fluffy universe, so I didn't know who that was. Thanks though!
>If anyone has something worthwhile to say, they'll say it in a constructive way.
"The first job of a critic is to describe what he has read. This is a lot more difficult than one might suspect." -- Some real hardcore writefag.
Which is just another way of saying good feedback is a rare commodity. I agree, most of what you can expect consists of "I don't like your story because I don't like your story." You may find an occasional gem.
Experience suggests good execution triumphs over shitty ideas. And vice versa. I like the idea though. Try it.
"Viper security system activated. Cease humping and step away from the vehicle."
Fuck I miss these. Where did the artist/animator go?
One pound unmodified dead weight. Five pounds gross after eating a quarter pound of kibble.
Hey guys, I'm gonna head to bed for the night. Ill make my account tomorrow on the booru.
However, I'd like my first battle to fluffy-fy to come from here, so lost suggestions and whichever gets the most (you)s in the next half hour wins. Expect to see it this weekend, might post draft in the threads.
It might be hard to get fluffies to fight each other, but tricking/forcing them to do that could easily make a good part of the stories themselves.
The battle of 300 Spartans would be a nice start.
There's drama there? I've honestly never seen it. The comments are mostly people enjoying or hating the comic but full blown drama like on Reddit? No, at least not that I know of.
Oh, and if I dont get a battle voted in by midnight ill just pick a random one. I might just make it fluffy war and drop the human part too, complicated it too much. Cant exactly recreate the jungles of Vietnam in montana.
>I might just make it fluffy war and drop the human part too, complicated it too much.
Good idea. Fluffies are what we're here for, so skipping the irrelevant background to get straight to the action ought to be good for the story.
Ooh, haven't heard of that before. Do you mean Jutland in WWI? Or was this a different time. I guess now is an important time to note that will do some research on the battles and numbers, but fluffify them
If you could elaborate/provide a link for these more abstract names (aka ones I don't know cause I'm dumb) that'd be great. By the way, there are only one vote per battle, so let's try go narrow it down. I'm writing these down, but I need a single topic to start
Okay, since there's only one vote for the five topics up so far I'm gonna stay up til someone votes for one of these, or ill just pick one. However, all of these will be among my first stories.
Thanks for the help mates, looking forward to writing.
Nice, looking forward to writing about this. Since, I guess, everyone has voted, I'm gonna pick this to be first. I'm gonna be doing research up until the weekend, where I will post a draft in a thread, then upload.
Thats the first time Ive seen an old fluffy...
>hear about this new thing called a Chirpy
>like a toy but its alive
>not really interested
>until your friend tells you he read on the net
>Chirpie food has THC in it
>you decide to check them out
>take acid on the way to the store
>it really hits as you go inside
>little girls in line to get these things
>like neon furry toads with googly eyes
>nothing like my little pony
>they croak out their songs
>the acid really kicks in
>I said hydrophilic instead of hydrophobic
holy shit bomb my fucking house.
I've had an account for over a year now and I've never been a part of any drama, even marginally. (though following it as a spectator can be quite amusing) It depends on whether or not you'll let yourself be dragged into something.
