I sort of understand where they're coming from tho, ISP suddenly realizing they've got 9,001 unmaintained email servers exchangeing spam and viruses
They still sell the Odroid-XU4 butt that thing's kinda bordering obsolution now. (Being based on a 32-bit platfurm [knot that it necessarily mattered butt anyway...]), there's an alternative that's based on Amlogic S905 which is 64-bit butt they say ARM Lisux 64-bit support is still early stages. Butt platfurm is a chink mid-tier platfurm so I'd have to research on how does the purrfurrmance compare to the Exynos on the XU4

yeah it should, but there are all kind of nat traversal tricks and crap. then routers try to be "smart" about it... voip is a mess of poorly implemented designed-by-committee protocols, everything seems to have minor incompatibilities in different ways - nothing is not broken somehow.
maybe it's not as bad as i make it out, but yeah it does work with non-standard ports in use, but it also works with sip over tls because they can't mitm that and read/fuck with sdp or whatever

As for the image, it just reminded me of my life, which is why I mentioned it. I don't want to live at all, nor do I want a minimum wage sysadmin job.
The commands in that man page will work in all the programs that come with X, pretty much, and programs that use X toolkit or Xaw. Not many programs nowadays. All CUA.
I use pdksh as my shell most of the time. It has both emacs and vi modes, but emacs is default. As for the actual text editor I use, I use nvi, a vi-clone.
