DSII had new enemies and different enemy placement in ng+, with all dlc thats pretty much 100 hours of gameplay even if you know the game and plow through most of the bosses on first try.

DSIII is most fun because of the variety in gameplay, lots of items, multi phase bosses and all that shit, + the first half of the game is easy as fuck, even for a beginner, ds1 + 2 were hard from start to finish, ds2 was the easiest tho, not as easy as 50% of ds3 but still

I'm sorry to disagree with you in the aspect that DkSII is easier than III and the variety of items and weapons, good sir. But, as always, this is something we found subjectively.

In my honest opinion, DkSIII is the worst of Soulsborne series. I found it like... without personality... like if it weren't thanks to its direct connection to the first Dark Souls, it'd had nothing to tell us. And I'm not saying it's a bad game, but damn, is a fanservice machine. The only that I hate the most is that shitty Ashes of Ariandel. I hope they don't make a garbage DLC again.

Play dsII again man, especially with the new updates its easy as fuck. I played each Dark Souls at least twice, new characters + ng+. Ds1 still kicks my ass, Ds3 is a breeze for up until Aldrich, Ds2 I managed to slay 70% of the bosses on first try, back when it came out I agree it was tough, not as tough as ds1 but still tough, now its too easy, and its not me being used to the game, like I said, the other 2 games were still challenging. Ds3 had way more weapons and armors man, I always explore these games as much as I can and I don't remember having a new set of armor or weapons every couple of hours in ds2, ds3 had a ton of items + different skills for different weapons and more fluid gameplay with faster animations made the game more dynamic, for a dark souls game its important. Personal preference i suppose.

I do agree on ds3 being mostly fan service. The atmosphere of the game is pretty much ds1 + 2 combined. Gameplay and multi phase bosses taken from bloodborne and graphically its all the previous games combined + a lot of returning characters/items. It wasn't as mysterious as the other games but it was a gold mine for people that like the lore of the game. A needed sequel to tie up the series, but the least original as it borrowed too much from other games.

Also never understood why they put tutorial bosses and made the game more casual friendly with DS3 if the other 2 games already established an audience and didn't compromise. Its a bit too late to make this game more approachable for mainstream gamers

I also liked dead space 3. 2 had a kind of tacked-on coop, but in 3 they really fleshed it out, the second character has a full storyline/ side dungeons and shit geared for him.
