If you want lighter, dare I say simpler stuff, go for Metallica
Try for the older albums though, the newer stuff is basically trucker music
Then megadeth, though mustaine nasally voice on the songs may be disconcerting at first
Pantera has screaming, but it's not the whole song, just for accentuation and tone
Slayer maybe, or anthrax
System of a down is a good one
Just generally alot of older stuff
If you want something a little more obscure, candlemass or cacophony
If you just love the technicality of the guitars and amazing playing, Jason Becker or Yngwie Malmsteen
