So according to the Quran, you are supposed to pray to Allah and ask for help when you need it. It also says that Allah will give you assistance. That being said, there are still so many religious Muslims around the world living in terrible conditions. If our god really was supposed to help when asked to, why is that the case?
What annoys me more is that if someone prays for something to happen, and it doesn't, they immediately this k that "it wasn't meant to be" or something like "Allah knows best."
In my mind, this reasoning is a complete contradiction of what I said before, where Allah is supposed to help when you ask.
