Atheism isn't a religion it's what happens when someone realizes that all religions are false, that morality is what's important, and that religion is just a way to get people to behave. If you tell someone to be a good person or they will suffer forever or get reincarnated as a bug or any other bad thing then hopefully they will be good, you just got to make them believe it. So it's really about doing what you can live with, and justifying in a way that you are comfortable with. So if you need religion to justify being a good person then more power to you, I simply do not.
