This explains everything
That explains nothing. You are exactly a vapid cunt that butts into conversations I am having with others to shit talk and you did very clearly state that people mind their own business. Your actions and the reality of people almost always not minding their own business both contradicted that statement.

He's not autistic he's just misunderstood. Right?

I think Daniel Johnston is a better lyricist than he is a musician. His music sung by him is kind of meh, but when covered by another musician the songs are great.
>>720554940
arent mutually exclusive
>>720555345
The Bright Eyes cover of Devil Town is dope nose up the brah
>>720555403
I don't know what dope nose up the brah means. But I can tell you that Sparklehorse has done a couple of covers as has The Flaming Lips. All those covers are rather brilliant.
>>720555476
Means safe class. I was just listening to the Wayne Coyne, Danger Mouse and Sparklehorse collab song
>>720555345
it sounds spooky though
>>720555574
Revenge is a great song. Jaykub and The Man who Played God are my favorites off the album though.
>>720555628
It's his voice. It's too high for my tastes.
>>720555674
Dark Nightbof the Soul for me. Still gotta watch David Lynch's movies
My spider is standing in his water dish so I can't refill it.
>>720555777
David Lynch is great. Star Eyes is a pretty great song too.
I could just move him out of it, but he seems comfortable, so I'll just wait for him to move on his own.
>>720556047
yoooooooooohga
>>720556091
Sick one of the other bugs on him
>>720556092
How are you doing?
>>720556168
Eric is my largest animal right now, the others wouldn't stand a chance. Also I love all my babies so I wouldn't risk harming them.
>>720556254
What's the point of owning a small insect zoo if there are no gladiatorial battles?? You should ship me sweet tea from Chicken Express
>>720556607
I don't believe in that and I don't know what Chicken Express is. If it's tea you want, I go to this place and by bags of loose leaf .
>>720556689
Are you kidding me? That was the only good thing about Texas, the Chicken Express. There's gotta be one near you
>>720556770
Oh. I don't eat fried chicken.
>>720556208
People are sick so I'm being a nurse at the moment. I'm fine though. For now.
You?
>>720556830
The fried chicken isn't that great. It's the sweet tea and their mashed potatoes and gravy. Although when i was down there in September or whatever i was in like a yuppy place, Whole Foods and everything. I was amazed they had that in Dallas
>>720556859
I woke up and decided to call in to work that I won't be coming. Woke up several times during the night and just didn't feel like bothering with people in the morning today.
>>720557078
Wait, is this Jeremy?
>>720557193
Yee
>>720557344
Oh shit, what up, nigga? How's the baby?
>>720557395
I'm terrible, but he's good. Starting to talk more. I think i confused him by speaking to him about the same things in different languages though, he seems to have his own language. How are ye? Still sculpting?
>>720557570
Sometimes, I go back and forth between painting and sculpting right now. He'll be fine, social interaction and stuff will get him to talking gooder. Why terrible? I still need to illustrate those poems of yours.
>>720557696
Been pretty depressed. Writing a lot though. I have more poems now. Still can't do prose though. Son lives with his mother 4 hours away now, i'm currently living alone until my gal pal gets back from Thailand. Very very isolated, constant darkness. Work 50 hours a week. What are you arting lately?
>>720557952
Painting again. Large paintings. I'm in the shit now, man. Every day these things are changing. It's an exciting time. It's good that you're writing. I may be renting a house with a friend of mine in a few months. If I do I'm gonna have the space to start a small press company. I'll be able to screen print as well as print my comics.
>>720558095
That would be awesome! Dibs on writing pieces for your gallery to do some collabs. are you making money from arting yet?
Autism thread
>>720553698
Yes, it does explain 99% of human behavior. But the guy that posted it is acting like it's somehow new and revolutionary information when all (real) anthropologists and philosophers have known it for years. But they usually don't call it "hive mind" they call it herd mentality.
Humans are still primates and primate herds have a rigid hierarchy and strong notions of what is acceptable and nonacceptable.
This world has very few true individuals.... and is about 99% human beings follow the dictates of their tribe.
>>720558358
Proof >>720558364
>>720558310
I've made a bit of money, yeah. I'm working on getting my work photographed, then it's writing a bio/statement, building the portfolio, and applying to galleries. It's gonna take a long time.
>>720558441
Have you applied to any galleries at all? That artist statement is what's important nowadays
>>720558577
No, not yet. I have nothing to show to them at all, no statement, no body of work, nothing. I have the paintings done, just need to get them photographed. Then the bio/statement. Then I put them all together and send them off. There is a process to follow.
>>720558700
To make it you have to work it. I think you could, but your art is not the only thing representing you
>>720559088
Yes, I know. I'll be looking around for juried shows to submit to as well.
>>720559174
If you ever need opinions, i enjoy making people feel bad
>>720559239
Yes, please do.
>>720559290
You're ugly and your work is contrived. I hope the Greek gods doom you to an eternity of onion cutting so you cry like i did when i saw your work. Filth.
>>720559424
That would be pretty cool though.
>>720559496
Being doomed by Greek gods?
>>720559593
Yeah, like Sisyphus, that great absurd hero.
>>720559667
Just for the absurdists. Prometheus is best
>>720559752
Prometheus had it coming. He's the one that damned us.
>>720559826
He's the one that damned the world by saving us
>>720560112
He didn't save us. Our salvation is entirely dependent on us.
>>720560189
There is no salvation, douchebag, only survival. Salvation is not a thing unless we're talking about being saved from a moment
>>720560285
There is being saved from ourselves.
>>720560361
Impossible. The only thing that wants to save us is our selves, and once you do sate that then there will be something else to save, completely destroying the point
>>720560506
I'm not interested in saving the world or anyone else. I'm not that ambitious or selfless.
Morning
>>720560569
You want to destroy your self for art. More selfish than you know
Spoke for you, but i bet i'm right
>>720560634
thanks for reminding me to go to bed
>>720560688
Art is what is going to save me.
>>720560765
Sounds like you need some dick
>>720553698
You both seem like self important cunts, who are completely unable to entertain the viewpoints of other people. I could understand what both of you were trying to say, and thought that sad man made a better point, but neither of you really tried to explain what you were saying other than by shouting "NO YOU'RE WRONG" at each other louder and louder.
You might both legitimately be on the spectrum.

SSHD?

No, the failure rates on SSHDs are abysmal.

Doesnt stand in my experience.
>>720564334
neat, is it one of those super duper cool 3 monitor ones that Razer made for CES?
>>720564752
Compared to SSDs.
I've never had a single SSD fail from regular use.
>>720564826
Dell XPS 15 Touch w/ 4k screen, i7, 16GB RAM, 500GB SSD
>>720565022
I have a PCI-E SSD, HDD and SSHD and none of them have failed during my what, 3-4 years of experience
>>720565022
that's pretty nice, if it uses an integrated gpu though i think it's a bit overkill for non-gaming tasks
is it a kaby lake i7?
>>720565268
it has a GT 750M as well
Haswell 4712HQ
>>720565587
ah i see, they would get the job done depending on what you're doing mostly on the laptop
>>720565193
3 drives is hardly a good sample size.
Drives I have in service:
6 SSDs:
1x 80GB Intel 320, my oldest one by far.
1x 64GB Transcend, the cheapest one, used in my throwaway thinkpad
2x 240GB Corsair Neutron in RAID1, running 10 or so virtual machines
1x 120GB Samsung 840, my old daily desktop driver. Outgrew the size. Currently used in a USB3.0 dock for quick transferring of files between PCs.
1x 512GB Samsung 850 Pro, current desktop main drive.
15+ 3.5" drives in service that I can count, probably more. Roughly 50TB raw storage.
1 2.5" HDD in service, secondary 500GB WD Black in the throwaway laptop
0 SSHDs
Failures:
SSD: 0
3.5" HDD: 6+ (only counting drives <10 years old) (2x seagate flood drives, 2x hitachi datacenter drives (very old), 1x WD green 3tb, 1x hgst 2tb drive)
2.5" HDD: 2 (2x western digital externals in a row, ended up getting a refund)
2.5" SSHD: 2 (1x WD that came with throwaway laptop, 1x seagate hybrid that replaced it)
You can see why i'm biased towards SSDs.
that's a lot of drives
>>720565850
It was an insane deal, $700 on ebay. It's replacing a Thinkpad T410 so it's a MASSIVE upgrade in terms of power.
>>720566307
I may have a problem.
I'm looking to get a new NAS and expand even more. Current NAS only has 4x4tb drives + 1 spare.
>>720566425
oh well that's a huge upgrade, especially for that price.
did it feel really good when you got it? when i replaced my dying gtx 460 with a gtx 1070 i felt really good, i imagine it would be similar.
didn't you tell me a while ago that you run some sort of server or something that has to do with all of them? if not i may be mixing you up with someone else. or you've got an insane amount of pornography
>defrag time remaining: >1 day
oh boy
>>720566782
Not really, the laptop is just a side thing that I don't use very often. I just couldn't pass up that price.
I run a lot of servers so maybe?
>>720566876
oh i see, that deal was still pretty good though
then yeah, it was you and i'm not mixing people up for once
i also typed that last sentence without looking where i put it
slow day today
yeah, it's pretty early though, more will show up at some point i'm sure
>>720567723

Metallica atm, my iPod crashed and I had to buy a new one, so I gotta refill that shit.

are you advocating for kebab? are you kebab?

Sick, but since I don't get fever, I'm not feeling all that bad. I do, however, apparently afflict everyone around me and as a result, anyone I've been in contact with this past week is now suffering throat pain and intense fever.
>>720569704
Perhaps.
Perhaps we are all kebab.

no
remove your kebab sorcery from the premises at once
