One piece is the truth, anyone saying other wise I'm this thread is an edgy fagget. I watched and read all of naruto, the plot is to simplex but they try to make it deep. There is like 8 different people that are "the bad guy" the final bad guy is literally pulled out of there ass bullshit. I loved naruto up until the last 150 or so episodes/Manga. One piece seems fresh every time I watch an episode, the first 100 or so episodes are slow and I know that sounds like a lot but for an anime that is 770+ anime long and 867+ Manga deep that 100 episodes is nothing. It's slow like the Sayian saga in dbz was slow you need the build up of character in order to fall in love with the show though. You are left mysteries that are still unanswered from episode one and it doesn't feel.like the mysteries go neglected or just never brought up again like you find in other animes, I like enjoy lots of different varieties of anime and if your looking for a good Shonen like dbz go with one piece.

I have watched both and in terms of story I liked Naruto much better. However the amount of filler made me wanna shoot up my school. One Piece on the other hand is pretty good story wise and still going so... Yeah.

Naruto had a ridiculous villain, but he got with the best woman at the end while the bitchy chick got exactly what she had coming, which I thought was nice. The filler is a pain in the ass but really, only the second half of the original series was that bad about it, and there's absolutely no more canon between the last fight and the beginning of Shippudin so you're not really missing anything by just skipping straight to Shippuden.

It's not amazing or anything but it's a decent watch, I couldn't even get into One Piece so I can't really say anything either way besides the beginning of the series just doesn't really hook you very well.

I grew up on YYH so I'm not disagreeing that it's at least as good as Naruto or One Piece. Gotta say though, kinda lacked in characters gaining power in interesting ways. Also just seems a bit lazy to have two "martial art tournament" arcs. Although I know the same can be said of DragonBall, at least most of those tournaments were regularly occurring and made by the same people, which makes more sense than two entirely unrelated tournaments in YYH in the span of just a couple of years.

One Piece is extremely more interesting than either of those series combined. It's known as one of the most popular shounen series ever created, even breaking records for their movies.

JoJo, Cowboy Bebop, Boku no Hero, One Punch Man, Hajime no Ippo, Gundam Thunderbolt or Unicorn are all my favorites. Space Dandy is good too. It's just kinda stupid.

Almost all of them just go on way longer than anyone wants them too and by the time they finally finish it's more of a relief than anything else. Bleach obviously had a main villian and nothing was going to top Aizen no matter how you looked at it. Naruto did eventually end, Naruto ended up becoming not only the hokage like he wanted to be but apparently the messiah of ninjas itself. However, there is a new series now that focuses on his son....why we're suppose to care about that who knows.

One Piece however has a goal, and there are a LOT of baddies and locations in the world. One Piece is unlike the other series because there isn't a major baddie, they're all tied (and sometimes not even related) to each other. I'd explain why the bad guys in One Piece trump the baddies listed in other series but that'd take forever so instead I'd simply say: they're more "grounded" if that makes sense.

Did Kubo not originally plan to do the Quincy arc though? Maybe I'm misremembering things that had happened way earlier in the series, but it seemed like there were sort of like subtle hints that there were more villainous entities in the Bleach universe than just Aizen, especially his zanpakuto resembling the Quincy's big bad. From what I've read about and thanks to interviews and stuff like that. I have learned that a lot of series especially manga series suffer asspulls on a daily basis if they become major hits while other series end themselves in quick fashions because of consecutive decisions from higher-ups and publishers of manga in the japan.

Dragon Ball Z is notorious for asspulls, you can tell that the series was suppose to end twice to Toriyamas vision, Frieza and again with Cell.

I'm not sure if Kubo ever admitting about the Quincy arc being an asspull but it seemed like he needed something to extend his story because it probably would of ended much much sooner than his higher-ups wanted it to end.

one piece is a master piece. It has imo fantastic creative writing and unlike dbz where the protagonist have to get stronger for every new villain until they are at planet destroying levels, One Piece is smart about it and they win fights by cleverly using their abilities to their advantage against often stronger opponents which is fun to watch since you often don't expect what will happen next.

Apart from the action there are are also many very emotional moments that will let you tear up. You really care for the characters of this show because everyone is given a good backstory and interaction which eachother.


Naruto on the other hand is ok as well but the anime has just too many meaningless filler episodes

Yeah it does take a few episodes to get going, and its especially rough since episode two or three has really fucking dumb animation randomly, but once it gets rolling the show really is quite good.

I'm just the sort of person who won't get put off by a weak start as long as the complete series is solid. It was the same way with Bojack Horsemen and Westworld IMO, took a few episodes to really get going but once it got going you didn't want it to end.
