>>720044655 adc main here it's 2017 though, literally cant do shit, so I started playing support (after trying jungle and mid and failing miserably) and started to win started playing overwatch and I can't pick anyone up except mercy, have shit tons of fun since I found someone I can fucking play.
>>720044655 >play a lot of different games online with college friends as a way to keep in touch >"anon, why do you always pick the healer no matter what game we're playing" >"I dunno, never really thought about it..."
>>720047852 Gay, and truth be told I try to keep the overtly submissive behavior limited to the bedroom. Not to say I don't have a submissive personality by default, I just don't actively try to project that in every situation. The whole healslut kink is fun and all, but in my experience people find it really off-putting if they're not "in on it."
>>720044655 I like healer classes, debuff is more fun than FS (full support). But being a healer is fun, especially when retardards think I'm obligated to help them or when so eine passes me off and I proceed to heal the enemies they're training on.
I also relish in the fact that I am the linchpin of any successful team
>>720044655 Been a main healer for the last dozen years or so. It's not always about submissiveness or subservience, as the healer in a group (2-7) I'm one of, if not the single, most important members. I decide if the group lives or dies, I direct the group. Most players will tell you "tanks make the best leaders", when really a healer who knows all roles is the ideal leader.
>>720049483 I never wanted to be the raid leader, honestly. More of a tactician myself, feeding the leader the right strategy for them to 'rally the troops' as it were. Now I tank and occasionally dps as needed, and I suppose I'm relied upon for my vast experience.
>>720044655 >Loved playing battle medic in TF2 with the crossbow and amputator >Was really good at juggling healing my party members, pocket-healing whoever was the strongest class/best player, and shooting crossbows across the map >Could juggle and keep my whole team alive while under constant fire, so long as they didn't play like idiots >If I was alone or fighting off an enemy, the amputator was a crit-god, and I was great with the crossbow due to being good at leading shots >Close friend also mained medic and we would pocket medic each other sometimes >Haven't played the game in nearly three years now and no other game has made me enjoy the healing class like TF2 did It's an abstract kind of nostalgic feel.
>>720049688 Your "dominant" tank can literally do nothing I don't want him to or I will let him die. Who is really in control here? Healers can pretty much cuck anyone they want to and tanks know this that's why they try to stay on the Healers good side. Your "dominant" class is literally my bitch
>>720049963 Well, for one I don't really have an interest in playing OW, and for two my toaster computer is slowly dying and I'm saving money to get a brand new one and I don't know if it could run OW well.
>>720049688 >>720049778 >>720049814 Honestly, before this thread I never ever considered this relationship between healers and anybody else in a raid, and if someone told me that they had this unspoken bond or whatever it would have to be the tanks sucking the healers preverbial dick. >>720049940 You ain't clinging to your prison bitch for dear life while fighting off a boss though are ya? If anything it'd be like you'd ask it to fight for/ you.
I am talking out of my ass though, I haven't played anything enough to back it up with experience but I'm sure other people can.
>>720044655 I play overwatch a lot I main junkrat, but recently i'll switch to mercy if the team is dying/shit. Whenever i play her i always get this major sense of needing to just please everyone on the team and just feel really submissive. Which is intresting because like i said i main junkrat, whenever i play him feel joy in blowing up people with bombs Like a real sadistic happiness from that.
Dunno, i like blowing up giant tanks and crippling the other team severely. But then again, if my team needs help and i switch to mercy i feel like extremely submissive and feel the need to please everyone.
Funny side note, when im flying as mercy i feel like i need tuck my (mercy's) skirt in between my legs so no-one see's my panties, but also get a raging hardon at the thought of someone looking.
>>720050263 It's mostly them shitting on you for not healing them enough when you can only heal so much/ have only so much mana anyways and yet they're off being shitstains getting themselves killed anyways
basically they die because they're stupid and it's your fault
>>720050493 Yeah, I may try it one day in the future if I have a friend that plays it but I don't go on Steam too much now days so I'm not sure if any of them do play it (though I'd assume some would).
One thing that I kinda disliked from the get-go was that most characters only had one weapon and their abilities made up for the other "weapons", and I really liked having multiple and sometimes versatile weapons in TF2 to use in different situations, but I suppose the abilities are a bit more geared towards that. Maybe it's just a bit of me being used to the way TF2 played, but I haven't played OW so I guess I can't really judge much very well.
>>720050432 There are two types of healer players, submissive supporters (usually being women or gay males who just want to help) and then people that realize what a healer really is. The healer is the one person on your team that you HAVE to have good rapport with. Being a less twitchy class also affords them more time to think, type, and strategize. Even if voice chat is used the healer is usually in a safe position to make decisions without risk of missing a rotation or dying. A good healer that knows the game and is observant is more useful (and sought out) than any meatshield or damage whore ever could be.
>>720051889 Yeah, piss me off and I'll heal the enemy until they kill you. Most healer classes also have access to holy damage spells, debuffs, and buffs, so that's that thing where I debuff you into the dirt, turn myself into Jesus, then Crack your skull.
>>720051889 Supports are there to make sure the job is done, If even so you happen to fail to do your job the support will just move on to the next guy that might know how to get shit done. You don't choose the support here, the support picks you if he sees you're decent enough to not waste time and mana on you.
>>720052274 fine then, loot rewards from whatever the fuck we're doing. you can probably sell those if they're valuable enough for IRL money and buy an actual prostitute or something. however, I have respect for myself and will not be degraded to that stereotype unless real life money is involved.
>>720052608 I cant aim for shit, love blowing people to ashes, and also the feeling of helping control/controling a point/area. Because if theres a steady flow of bombs coming your way, thats generally not a good thing. And my team would pin down where the enemy is coming from, and i'd switch my aim to there and just throw some happy pills in there and watch the body's fly.
Also i like junkrat's character too. Also i like trapping people too. Just everything about it is fun to play for me.
>>720053763 Ragnarok allowed spam ressurection, that's the first thing that came to mind. More modern games usually have a longer cool down but with a decent team you can still accomplish your goals without
>>720053773 Also depends on the game's magic system, too. Some allow Priests (or Clerics) to have massive AoE damage to Demon / Undead types, far surpassing anything any other class but only on those types of mobs.
I love playing Mercy in Overwatch. I always love when the dps and thanks after I finish filling my face with sloppy flaccid health bars, tantalizing them until they grow big and girthy again. When they think they've had enough I resurrect them, bringing them back to max stiffness so I can get one simple "thanks". I can't help but get a hard on when someone thanks me in real life now.
>>720044655 Shit, if healers are seen like this, I mus be the dominatrix of healing. Motherfuckers know who's in charge when I'm around. They sass me, I let their asses die. Fuck the tank, I can heal enough to make the dps fill the part till you realize who the fuck you're dealing with. Naughty little shits know what happens when you get to full of yourself without my permission
>>720055509 >having a shitty (or irritated) healer is the worst thing ever. They all know it. Oh, believe me, we know it. Cause y'all don't ever shut the fuck up and quit whining until you get your way.
>>720050263 Unless you get a newbie, those "heal sluts" would have your balls under heel until you give them the satisfaction they want, and you would stop whenever they told you to. That, or other submissive (read as DPSers) will tell you to just give in
>>720055965 >>720055690 I always loved being in a pug as dps and watching a healer and tank with absolutely zero group chemistry start bitching each other out over group chat. It was like being over at a friend's house as a kid when their parents started to get into a fight at the dinner table. Just sit back and watch the fireworks.
>>720056195 That does make sense. I've found the micromanagement to be enjoyable. My OCD tendencies kick in hard when I see a low health bar. I like the appreciation I get when I play well, too. I guess it just takes all kinds of mindsets to make a team oriented game fun in that way.
