you only see the main character twice, once in a drawing done by his wife and another time in a photo of them he has on his desk. the guy looks a little pudgy to be honest, though I didn't give it a second thought. to my recollection they never make reference to it in their dialogue and it certainly doesn't hinder the game mechanics of him hiking endlessly through the wilderness, spelunking or rock climbing. there also is zero reference to the fact the other main character is a woman. no reference to how she got there and no reference to her holding that position because shes a woman. the game wouldn't be nearly as compelling if the voice on the radio was a man. there's a reason mostly all informational recordings you hear in public are women's voices.

my hating homie is just projecting his insecurity onto a walking simulator because he's likely a fat faggot that has never been outside doing these things and was replaced at his cashier's job by a woman.

read the steam reviews, I'd be surprised if any of them echo this sentiment.
