Post your top five Steam games by playtime and rate.
All the Eve time is from a 2 week trial about 3 years ago.
dont know what happened i know skyrim has at least 500 hours
Ark is meh. You have to be legacied in if you're playing official servers.
ESO is pretty alright. I was surprised when I saw the time.
Warframe is shit.
DS3 is gr8. Playing through it again with reapers.
FO4 was good. Wasn't near the level of FO3. I never beat 4 either, the construction stuff was really good, but it wasn't for me. It needed snapping imo.
Civ5 is great. So is Civ6.
Skyrim is absolute dog shit. I put too many hours into it on Xbone getting 100%
inb4 brawlhalla is trash
I play it competitively and I've won hundreds of dollars because of it.
Top six just to get something in there that isn't strategy.
You all faggots
Dubs and I buy bad rats and play until I get all achievements.
Used to play unturned with some friends, don't judge me for it
CS:GO is played only for the drops so I can sell em
STO was awesome until I ran out of stuff to do. They did a great job of capturing the Star Trek feel in that game. By the way ALL of my game times always include a ton of idle time. I don't think twice about leaving something open. You might be better at Civ than I am. I play King.
All of my hours played are on my desktop. I've been on a trip for 4 months though so my laptop is all I've got. Crypt of the necrodancer is a great time killer. I just replayed dishonored to prep for DH2, TF2 is ehhhh, fallout 4 is ehhhhhhh, GTA V is constantly improving.
I played that last game for shits and giggles. Don't question me
Nothing like a bit of social engineering on a Sunday night.
Its like everything I've always wanted in a Civ game. Played it last nite.
Dark Souls 2 would have been around 1200 hours but its split between playstation, base game and scholar of the first sin.
>I'm OP btw
I've found that quick games on immortal are the most fun for me, but I almost never get domination victories. :(
And I might give STO another go. I really liked the Tactical Assault games, so the controls were already pretty natural.
You gotta be pretty autistic to actually pay attention to Souls "lore" tbh fam. I fucking love those games but they pretty much don't have stories. Not the fag you're replying to, btw.
Not the poster but
I think civ 6 is less friendly towards new players because of how they did civics, but, I feel like the change also made it easier because of how it opened up the victory
Yeah I pretty much have to play on quick. I have a friend who plays on marathon and that must be like watching paint dry. Domination is fun but it's by far the hardest. I'll go for it if I'm playing the right civ and in the mood to roleplay a tyrannical dictator (I think this happens to all of us who play those games) but I definitely get cultural, science, or diplomatic a lot more often. Although really a diplomatic victory is more like an economic victory.
Oh its there alright. After beating my first play through and learning some lore I actually felt kind of teary eyed understanding some of the situations. That being said, the story wasn't as great when they started making the sequels.
I think it would be fun to play for domination on epic due to the more realistic passage of time for unit movements, but the time commitment for one game is crazy.
>I definitely get cultural, science, or diplomatic a lot more often
Same, especially diplomatic. That's the only way I can win on deity.
That feel though. I'm getting to that age now. All I've done is play video games my entire life. Decided to start studying for game design and try and get into the industry to at least be with the only thing I love.
if i had rfactor on steam, it would be in the thousands
I was tempted to buy them but I keep seeing too many mixed reviews. They're on sale every steam sale season and I've been tempted every time but from what I can tell maybe not worth it, not sure.
This is a pretty old screenshot, like 2 DLC's ago I believe, but was when the jewish mercantile dlc was released and I took over the map as jews lol
Unfortunately the kingdom of israel changes names if you form an empire and at the time my leader was indian and despite being jewish it reverted to an indian empire name. So I got a weird jewish Indian empire lol
Funnily enough, my actual favorite games in my steam aren't up on here.
>Darkest Dungeon - Gothic Horror Roguelike about party management, sanity crushing horror, and learning when to balance out food, treasure, and torches in a limited inventory.
>Pillars of Eternity - Baldur's Gate/Icewind Dale style RPG, a big throwback to the older style of games. Lots of heavy impact based on choices, good character personalities, and rich lore.
Both of these are fabulous fucking games. I would recommend them both very highly.
sweet jesus 1000+ hours of clicker heroes. im tempted to go gay just to give you a handjob. ur first handjob ever Haha. maybe even let u see what a suck job is haha. for the first time ever! what a loser!
Kek, I've been a fan of the Tropico series since the first game. If you want advice on what to buy, here you go (buy the complete pack of each when it goes on sale)
4 > 5 > 1+2 > 3
I'm usually offline so, it doesn't log it
most of the shit after this is shit i dont play anymore, before it gets down to the good ass games that dont have much time in them
yeah super toxic but the game is fun. It's too much work for me sometimes (best to play on wipe days, timesink multiple days in a row, etc) but it's def fun. The fact that the main conflict is all pvp makes it almost unconquerable.
You'll pretty much be shot on site as soon as someone catches a whiff of your fart in the breeze, you'll be hunted down.
The community is super toxic, kinda makes it equally as fuck as it is frustrating. Specifically, if you're an aggressive player, you'll have fun. If you're more relaxed and just want to build and explore, you'll have a bad time.
Take the time to look through the server lists, there's a server out there for everyone and their playstyle.
one perk of working at a family business is that you can play games at work.
I think the small playerbase is the worst part. I think the best thing the mods could do is flesh out the clan system a bit more and make community events more accessible. I've made a lot of friends through that game, though.
last time i played tf2 was in 2015 i believe
And I thought I was a casual before checking yours.
It's missing a few thousand hours on CSS because of the tracking started late.
It's missing a few hundreds on skyrim cause I'm mostly playing it offline.
I haven't played TF2 in years and i regret putting any time in WT

Glad people are playing it though, everyone I know hates it or refuses to play a 3PS
Skyrim time is wrong, I had an old account hacked and lost my 900 hours and change time.
2013 to today
i stopped playing video games early 2015 after gta v
My hours on most of my games are sad, i spend most of my time playing league of legends anyways so i guess it balances out
We almost have the same amount of hours on tf2.
I have 1858. Used to trade a lot. At one point I has a backpack worth $950. Then I sold all but one of my hats on marketplace, still on the market for $420. Made over $200 so far.
*sigh* I need to get out less...
I used to surf a lot I spend a lot of time on jump maps but im not great at jumping. Before trading took a high dive into the shitter that's pretty much what I spent most my time doing.
I also used to get really high and when I was super high I was godly in pubs. I was that guy with a scorching hat and an australium rocket domming half the other team.
my gaming buddy passed away
met him 9 years ago on a shitty mp game, he taught me about computers and helped me build my own eventually. we'd talk and play games all day, for 7 years straight
then when he passed (early 2015) i simply lost all interest in games. i will still look out for games from my favorite series but nothing else
I don't really play tf2 anymore
