I got over my personal gun craze when I was like 19. I bought a fuckload.

Then I grew up. I moved to a different state and only took my 12 gauge with me. I don't even have a ton of ammo.

People get all wrapped up in it, but it's really just an expensive hobby. No reason to have a shitload of guns (you have two hands), and there's only so many circumstances that justify having multiple.

Only real benefit you get with Mid-length on a 16" is some recoil mitigation, recoil on a 5.56 is minimal as it is. Never bothered me enough to care. As for how many, personal pref, I have kids, and each has one including me. Not that I really need to explain.

I'm Canadian. It's actually more dangerous to own a gun over here so we call the police instead even if they don't really enjoy their job and take a long ass time to come.

Last time I called them because I had a fight with a roommate and he didn't wanted to settle down even if he was starting to bleed... took them 15 minutes to come even if the police station is on the same street I live.
