I can see that. I can't really say much though. I normally stay away from the gossip and statements without anything backing them, but sticking your neck out can lead to someone trying to swing at it.

Hell, I remember when people tried to do the pony rumour against you and look what happened to it, died and pretty sure nobody really cares about it anymore.

30 second gesture drawings and continuously pushing yourself to be faster.

Through gesture drawings you not only learn how to draw shapes quickly, but you also learn better line confidence. One of the reasons people draw slowly is because they just don't know how to make long confident strokes.

I also went through a period where I refused to correct my lines. I would just post it. Even if it looked fucked up I would just shoot it out and try harder to do it right the next time. Led to a lot of fucked up drawings but it also taught me to stop second guessing my own hands and just draw the thing.

Beware though, practicing speed along can be dangerous because if you want quality line work you're gonna have to slow the fuck down at some point.
