If you're playing by yourself play a MOBA or something that is expansive and has some uniqueness between characters. With a party maybe play some titanfall 2 or a zombie game.

I play a lot of slower RTS games like XCOM or city builders when high. Maybe some CSGO occasionally.

I'd definitely suggest No Man's Sky (which, UNPOPULAR OPINION, I actually really love...) or Minecraft. Infinite procedural exploration is great when stoned.

All but the top one of those are on Steam and plenty of them are suitable for running your own music playlist.

Running old games from your past might be good too. Emulation perhaps. That library is too personal to be able to give recommendations.

I'd dump my "Skyrim sucks" folder but that's not the point of the thread. Suffice it to say its a giant shallow bowl of bland, milktoast, cold porridge of an RPG. If you can stomach eating even half the bowl you need to get your taste buds checked.

I didn't want to waste half an hour saying the best way to use them all, as I do. But I normally did all my first DS playthroughs sober. But one of the shining points of the franchise are its boss battles. Once you've learned the movesets and level layouts it's difficult to get a thrill of the same level from that game again without taking a really long break.

I never really lose that much game prowess when high, but being high makes it feel like their is a second way to do everything.

A thing you don't expect either is how much funnier the limited communication functions of the game can be from getting baked. That vague human element given to you through gestures, messeges and cosplays.
