>Insidious

I bet i know some that are better. But im not so good at remembering movies on the spot.
>>
>>719046624
Also

>The Hills have eyes.
>28 weeks later.
>Dead Snow 2 (More of a comedy. But its awesome)
>Evil Dead
>>
>>719046153
I know ive seen this movie before. But i cant remember where its from.
Is it that movie about the old lady that is possesed?
>>
Movies ive seen recently:

the new Blair Witch is nice if you like found footage movies
Autopsy of Jane Doe was pretty gud aswell
Dont Breathe I also liked
Not really a horror but i fucking loved The Human Centipede 3, that shit was hilarious, also, gore gore gore
>>
>>719047278
The Taking Of Deborah Logan
>>
>>719047325
>Blair Witch.
Really? Ive heard so much bad out it.

>Human centipede.
Agree those movies are jokes. But pretty funny.
I love the doctor in the 1st. He is perfect for that fuckt up role.
>>
>>719047382
Aaah yes. I was right. Pretty good movie
>>

BW: it has a different vibe than the the original, i cant say i didnt enjoy it though, hope were getting more nice sequels in the future

HC3: the first movie was sort of "serious", the second one less so, and the third is straight up a B-movie and straight up a parody of the first two movies. Tom Six (the guy behind the movies) actualy appears in the movie, basicly just to throw up
>>
>>719047954
Cool ill check out BW.
Dont Breathe also sounds pretty interesting.
>>
The entire Phantasm series is a fantastic romp. Atmospheric, campy, and still genuinely creepy at times.

The last chapter just came out so now is a great time to binge the entire franchise.
>>
>>719048097
I saw dont breathe in the cinema, was definitely worth it (especially for the basement scene, when you see it youll understand, that sequence was made for the big screen)
>>
I just watched The Green Inferno
Not sure how much you like gore >>719046153
but that shit was top notch.
>>
American Horror Story is actually pretty good. Especially the first two seasons.

I would not say they are scary at all. But the story is good.

>>
>>719048306
I really liked Green Inferno but all my mates that watched it thought it was pretty crap.
>>
>>719048686
yeah it was because it felt forced as shit. they coulda left it with the 1st one but no, the jews had to make another
>>

Ah, you've found yourself a hunter...
>>
>>719049157
They should make a spooky horror about jews :)

I dont know why. But i found this movie a bit boring.

The acting was fucking awful for the most part. Interesting movie though. Check out Knock Knock from Eli Roth with Mr. Reeves.
>>
>>719049040
that movie was trash honestly. I wanted the son to die--he was fucking annoying
>>
>>719049603
knock knock was trash. Just soft core porn. It lacked any decent acting and any logic.
>>
>>719046624
As above so below? Really? That was absolute shit.
>>
>>719046438
That was a shit, pretentious, unscary movie. That wasn't horror, it was fucking drama.

What was the name of the movie in the picture?

The Bye Bye Man
>>
>>719050028
John Carpenter's The Thing, for one. Also I swear if someone here says It Follows was scary I will be so triggered.
>>
>>719050028
Well, movies that (for me) had me thinking later on about them and had me paranoid some were:

August Underground Mordum
Slaughtered Vomit Dolls
Moebius (not really horror but shocking)
The Shining

I have more suggestions but not able to recall right off the bat.
>>
>>719050275
>The Thing
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QAoONl2P8fw
>>
the autopsy of jane doe, its a fuckin scary watch
>>
>>719050275
Yeah, It Follows was fucking boring. People built it all up and I was completely let down. The Thing is amazing
>>
>>719050358
Hm yea. Those ARE some good ones. Not scary though.
But i really like horror about ghosts. And i think its hard to find horrors like that, that are really scary.
And i think my list have some that are kinda spooky.
>>
>>719050275
>The Green Inferno
It Follows scared the pants off me, man.
>>
>>719050539
Idk, I have different tastes I suppose. Modern horror now is all cliche and jumpscares that don't shock me. I can always figure out the "twists" too. Forghost ones, I'd look into foreign horror films. Theyre good with that stuff.

If you want a sequel in the same style as the blair witch project you're gonna have a bad time

interactions feel like acting, especially in the beginning. but I was such a fan of the first one I sat through it and the new one ended up being pretty frightening.

If you can get over the bad acting right at the beginning it really ends up being pretty good.

I fucking hate John Cusack and I don't know why. Something about his personality comes off in every role and it leaves a bad taste in my mouth

1408 really wasn't that scary. Ghosts just don't do it for me any more

The only part I remember is the guy furiously jacking off.

>>719048306
Green Inferno was a fucking joke anon

>>

yep I think so. ghosts, suicides, weird videos etc.
>>
>>719058385
Session 9 is solid if you can sit through the slowness of it. The payoff is huge and worth the wait.
>>
>>719049812
Fucking thank you. As Above So Below had such huge potential for a great psychological horror. Never seen a horror go straight up Disney before.

More of a thriller than a horror movie, but 28 Days Later is extremely good.
>>
some good ones.

>the audition
kinda slow but has a pretty good payoff.

>sinister.
started off pretty good, but as >>719057697
said, 3rd act kinda sucked.

>the decent
good atmosphere, lighting, tone etc. worth a watch.

>snowtown / the snowtown murders
more of a drama with some horror elements, not the kind of thing every one will enjoy but I thought it was decent.

>Martyrs
This movie is fucking brutal, just make sure to watch the french original and not the shitty Hollywood remake.

and finally, my personal favorite.

>Caché
Another french movie. like snowtown, Its debatable whether this is horror or not, but it builds excellent tension. If you like "thinking movies" this is for you.

Best suggestions so far in the opinion of an actual horror movie fanatic:

Taking of Deborah Logan
The Babadook
Grave Encounters
The Witch
REC
Blair Witch Project
The Conjuring
The Shining
Session 9

Each of these stand out in their own regard and are all scary as fuck. A couple suggestions of my own:

Mine Games
The Invitation
We Are What We Are
