Actually I just read about this chick. Apparently she weighed over 600 pounds at some point but turned her life around and through dieting and exercise lost about 400 pounds. Reminds me of what happened to me.

So I worked in a poultry plant as a yield tech, basically I made sure we weren't wasting a bunch of product. I was on 2nd shift and the person on 1st was a woman.

About a year after I started we were told that the plant was scaling down production and my department was going to just be 1 shift. I was told by HR, my supervisor, the plant manager etc. that my position would be safe and we'd just have 2 yield techs, but about 3 weeks before the switch we got a new female supervisor who was friends with the female 1st shift tech.

I was called into her office and told that she investigated me and found that I had lied on a report. It was BS, but she needed to say that to be able to take away my position without me being able to go to HR or get it back later. I gave my 2 weeks notice on the spot.

Basically the 1st shift yield tech cozied up to the new supervisor and got me fired because she was afraid I'd end up replacing her as I was better at my job.
