Why??
I know its bait but I'm bored, I'll bite.
Atheism is the state of believing there are no divinities or higher powers

/thread
okey that was actually kinda unsettling
>>718924125
This is terrifying. Can you describe the technique so that it can be done in GIMP?
>tfw you try to imagine the thing that goes around posting this bait
also, can we have a bait puc thread? i need to buff up my folder
>>718924361
I made the series in GIMP. I'm not sure of which filters I used, but they're all in the Filters submenu, no plugins.

now make a gif

I plan to at some point. I'll have to fight to get it under the 2mb limit.
i'll drop a convo in here
do u people really think that a world like ours and creatures like us were just made out of nowhere ? everything great can't be there without being created , and us humans are the greatest thing ever existed on this planet , i'll act like buying the theory the human race has evolved for million of years from micro creatures to where we are now and ask .. from where did these creatures come ? there is a creator for sure , u don't have to follow a religon to please him , just believe his existant and accept it and be a good human .. i'm sure it would be more than enough
and thats my opinion as a free minded muslim
>>718925136
>free minded muslim
please explain this oxymoron

they came from early self-replicating molecules. They replicated for millions of years until eventually they started becoming more complex by chance.
Tell me, why would a god care if people believe in it?
>>718925136
read Selfish Gene and go back to the fucking desert
>>718925619
and from where did the self-replicating molecules came ? my point of the question was whatever kind life existed it was created by someone for sure , life doesn't pop out out of nowhere
as for your question , its pretty simple it was just a test for god's creation , will they believe it and appreciate it and that takes some faith or just deny his existant going the easy way , each have results but trust me its not bad as the relgious peeps make it look , god is an amazing genius creator not what those brain washed sheeps thinks
>>718925477
not brain washed about my relgion ?
>>718926445
Though its a big topic to debate in scince i follow the idea that self replicating molecules can pop of no where. Just very rarely. Sort of I can't put enough zeros past a decimal point rare chance. But in a universe so extraordinarily massive that chance can become reality. It only needs to happen once and they can replicate and then science is more certain about what happened after that.
>>718923932
you are the problem
>>718926445
Life didn't pop out of nowhere, basically there were really, really simple molecules first that could self-replicate. Something much more like a crystal than a cell. Unfortunately modern life forms will quickly eat up useful nutrients so the original replicating life-like structures have long since gone extinct.
Anyway, I'm a stubborn fellow. I don't think it's a fair test for an entity to do, to hide their own existence and then judge people based on whether or not they believe in you. If I abandoned my wife, and she eventually started to believe I was dead, would it be evil of here merely to think that? I haven't met any gods, nobody has replied when I prayed, so as far as I'm concerned they're either not real or not interested in me.

it's a well known fact that the molecules that made life possible are forged in the environments around stars.
those stars were formed from molecular clouds formed by the deaths of previous stars.
now, these are inorganic molecules, but under certain conditions they can, as a byproduct, create organic molecules. as long as they are in the right environment.
consider that so far we have found some few thousand exoplanets, out of probably quadrillions, and that so far only a few of these are suspected to be capable of harboring life in some form. so few in fact that the chances of life evolving beyond a rudimentary level is statistically unlikely, if not random.
as for the origin of the universe, that's still up for debate, but from all appearances the present universe does not indicate any characteristics of being a controlled environment.
so all the evidence at this point is indicating that life is a random occurrence dependent on some rather rare specific conditions.
>TLDR;
random occurrence.
If you believe in a magical sky wizard, you are literally insane. Stop believing in stupid shit.

i truely admire your answers guys ! thanks for the reasonable replies
as for >>718927245
is there any evidence supporting the fact that self replicating molecules can pop of nowhere? like did the human kind witness that ? a living creature can't just poof ! think it over as a human who depends fully on his brain only not others opinions , i'd love to hear that
and >>718927568
i love your way of thinking and its quiet fine actually to think that way , speaking your mind is the best thing ever
the thing is god is always with humans , he hear them but he doesn't reply , he doesn't give u what u want but gives u things u need without making u feel the need itself and if u ask me its pretty smart way because he'd be unfair if he replied to only some people ignoring the others .. u get me ? god is seen by the heart's eye
anyway guys times have changed , u are not damned u just got your reasons and i'm sure god understands them , just be as much good as u can and feel free to believe that there is someone watching over u
have an amazing night , anon is out

>pop of nowhere?
Stop thinking in those terms, because zero credible people are arguing that anything popped out of no where.
