No you retards the same options are available in the south as anywhere else. The problem is she didn't reach out. She didn't ask for the help she needed. It's state law in GA that if a doctor, nurse,police officer, teacher, or any other member of school staff notice even one iota of abuse they have to report it. So that means she was that good at hiding it and never once reached out. I live 30 min from this. I know some of her family. Not her specifically. I also have experience in the criminal justice system here in GA. if she was being abused she did a damn good job hiding it and chose to deal with it herself.

All in all, we couldn't have done anything. She was unknown to us (except for Kik guy/op) and even he couldn't save her because he didn't know much about her. Its pointless to think oh if time was reversed we could have done something. That kind of shit only happens in games or movies. Her life was shit, she had no one to turn too, she died. I'm not sure what mental conditions she has but she just goes off in her own little world and thinks all these crazy things and panics and then hurts herself...and all while she's just alone. Then the next day she's fine. She often just vanishes and stops talking.
I'm always there for her..she has many other ppl too but she's crazy and in her own world and randomly thinks she's all alone or that shes worthless and ugly or fat. Just anything and she's like a 9/10 at least.

You don't want to shower her with compliments because she will brush them off as insincere. I find it sometimes help depressed people when you give them a problem they can solve and let them know that they are appreciated for their help. Don't be afraid to let her know that you feel down and it would help if she hung out with you. Ask her opinion with common problems you usually solve on your own. Engage her mind with your problems even if they are not serious and really listen to her and learn from her replies. I am not saying this will solve the problem because people are crazy but you need to poke and prod her to get her focused on life and others. Focusing on herself is where the problem festers and turns into a dangerous obsession.

Someone very close to me has been battling depression all her life. She has had a shrink for a long time, been on various meds, and finally she got on Zoloft and she did a complete 180. She is very careful how she talks to people suffering depression, because she has been in that world for a long time - I don't know how to walk on those egg shells but basically she advocates for trying different meds until the correct ones are found.

I had a freind who was very much anti-meds for his various issues (his take was taking meds was a sign of weakness, etc). He finally got on proper meds for his condition and he also made a 180 turn - and he as well is not an active advocate for meds.

Finding the proper meds is a long road for some though. don't write it off.
