4chan must inexplicably hate the comic I was going to post, as it was apparently too large even when reducing it to a near thumbnail-size.

I can't find it now, but one perfect example is a story where sanitation workers offer smarty money for recycling fluffies by weight. They manage to explain that money can buy anything from sketties to fluffies, and all he has to do is get the fluffies into a bag. The smarty orders the herd into the bag, the workers weight it to be five dollars worth of biowaste, and the smarty orders the fluffies to come back out. This is when the workers explain smarty that he can't have them back because he traded them all for the money, and proceeds to kill them all by vacuum packing the bag. The smarty tries to stop them but gets thrown out, breaking its leg and landing next to the bill. It then begs the money to give the herd back and to fix its leg, but sees that he had made a terrible, irrevocable mistake.

As other anons have said, it's a new author's creation. In the author's head canon, it was a predecessor to the fluffy that looked similar but couldn't talk and sort of a test run to get the public used to the idea of a bio-engineered pet. It was succeeded by the Zonie, which was described as being a Chirpy's brain put into a robotic fluffy shaped chassis with a thought-to-speech device and had speech patterns more or less identical to fluffies.

From what I've seen, this author is attempting to rebuild fluffy canon from the ground up. The text stories are actually rather interesting. What little art they've created ... leaves much to desired, unless it is intentional.
