Canadian here, I do this as well. When I'm in Europe, I usually smoke hash using the same method.

Guess its because the strains you usaully buy on the streets are usually relatively strong.
For me as a person with very low tolerance a few hits from a blunt mixed with tobacco which contains around 0.33g enough.
Smoking it to fast leads to an unpleasant high for me.

I use about 1/4-1/3 tobacco in a joint. I find it burns better and is much smoother to smoke that straight weed. I typically use my bong to smoke though and no tobacco used.

I live in holland and here I smoke them in nice tabbaco blunt paper with a nice flavour, sometimes I make super blunts which approx contains 10 grams of very strong shit and only some tabbaco near the tip. however here in holland we make the strongest shit everywere selling price on street atm 10 euro 1gram for sativa almost at the same rate as it got selled in the legit coffeeshops. however in amsterdam your street and store prices of good quality sativa can goes up to like 15 euro 1g. but remember you can always buy stronger weed for example isolator which can cost up to 50+ euros a gram.

Mixing tobacco gives you a more energetic high. I smoke pure for a good few months before trying with tobacco and the difference was instantly noticeable. A much more enjoyable, energetic and buzzy high compared to just being monged.

I've heard that when people go to coffee shops in Amsterdam, the only ones we opt for "pure" are Americans and Jamaicans. Everybody else smokes a weed and tobacco blend.

Hash generally just pressed without any chemicals or heating.

Normally it is between 40-70% THC depending on the quality, it will contain small amounts of plant matter which is what makes up the other 30-60%

Dabs on the other hand use a solvent or in some cases heat and other solventless extraction methods which are currently being developed, dabs have ~80-95%+ THC depending on the quality, the other 10-15% is made of up other cannadbinoids, there is no plant matter left (which is why its clear like glass)

When I lived there it was either grade A skunk sold for £20 for 1.2g or Chinese / Vietnamese shite.

The Chinese used to sell it in green tea foil bags for £10 per gram or you could buy "half an ounce", which was really a quarter ounce, for £70. The quarter ounce was so wet it actually weighed 14g until it was dried out.

Aberdeen had by far the most expensive weed anywhere I have been. You had to know the right people to gett the good stuff.

It's pretty rare, and because of how rare it is most people wont roll a spliff if it's not for just themselves.

For example, even if someone smokes spliffs but they have friends coming over, they will roll 100% weed because they know the friends probably dont want to smoke a spliff.


There are of course exceptions to this, there are certainly groups out there who roll spliffs in the US regularly.

But i'd wager less than 10% of smokers in the US smoke splffs regularly.

That said, Europeans need to stop calling joints "spliffs." A spliff should be specifically a mix of tobacco and weed. It sounds like "spit;" so it just makes more sense that way.

Not him, but if it's not moldy, it should be good. Just really dry. I imagine it won't burn very well unless you mix it with herbs or tobacco, but even if you don't, burning too quickly isn't the end of the world.

I smoked 6-month old weed a while back and it was fine. Again, just dry.
