CS GO Matchmaking is horrendous. I try to stick to faceit.

League of Legends is pretty bad sometimes but honestly it's not bad every game. There are just a lot of retards who suck at the game and the game isn't made to let a losing team easily come back so it's frustrating. People will report you for anything.

4chan is full of basement dwelling beta fags who feel strengthened by their anonymity, but I would say that Tumblr is pretty bad, on the same level of 4chan where a significant portion of its users either have no idea what the real world is like because of being a shut-in or are just so hellbent on being angry about anything at all.

Probably a tossup between 4chan and Tumblr, I'd say.

Have you frequented Tumblr or 4chan at all? They're both very toxic. It stems from the fear of the unknown and that which is different than the user. Look at any thread on 4chan involving black people, women, etc. and you'll get neckbeards who feel empowered behind the anonymity of their screens to claim that they are superior. Tumblr has more people on it who are paralyzed by crippling anxiety and depression, or at least people who romanticize it and have no idea how the real world works.

Both websites are plagued by people who are unable to properly function normally in society, and while these kinds of people may have existed for an undetermined amount of time in human history, it's a network for them to connect and therefore a toxic community of people who have an internalized fear of change or anything different from themselves.

While there are good people on both websites, you can't argue against the fact that it's a breeding ground for shit like this.

I'd say a MAJORITY of the site is like that for both, based on the amount of users on those portions of the websites. 4chan can have 100 boards but if 90% of the users go on /b/ then you can frequent the other boards as much as you want, they'll only contain 10% of the users.

Tumblr is more of a popular and easily accessed website, and with that being said I'll admit that I used to have a Tumblr years ago and it all depends on who you follow.

So actually I'd go as far as to say that 4chan is worse.

I'd say any outlet in which your thoughts and comments and online avatar can be "rated" (like, thumbs up, subscribing, ect) either socially or due to "skill" within said community that doesn't directly link to your real like avatar is pretty toxic. 4Chan avoids this because you're anonymous, you don't have an account with any history to it or any connection to other internet or real life occurrences. The opposite of this two sided pie would be Reddit which allows the creation and building of an avatar with a history and "unique" presence that is trying to compete with thousands of other "personalities" and avatars trying to establish a footprint.

So it starts at the top with let's say Instagram. You are connected to your real life persona, you post pictures only your friends can see (not saying 100% people do this on Instagram but usually it starts as a social device in high school) so you don't intentionally try to inflict cringe or start drama.

Reddit now removes the connection to your real life but with all the ability to rank people's profiles as if they were themselves. This removes lack of care when deciding how annoying or embarrassing you're trying to be. You're much more opinionated.

4Chan finally removes all connection you have to your online and offline avatars, removing any possibility of getting "triggered". Why should I care if someone responds "TLDR"? This post won't last like my Instagram or Reddit accounts and me and my troll aren't distinguishable from anyone else. It's just pure internetting.

The problem is an idiot can say anything they want on Reddit and because they get "upvotes" or are being graded, it influences stupidity and this delicate "don't disturb the circle jerk".

Video games largely have this problem, especially skill based games with large communities. I shouldn't have to explain why but I guess small team based games tend to have the most toxic players.
