As for the trans people vs standard people, that's just always gonna happen with people who are different unfortunately. In my own personal opinion, I just would like if the trans community would all simply get the surgeries and hormone treatments to get as close to the opposite gender as possible. Not just put on a wig and call it a day. At least if you have the money/health insurance. If you don't have those, you have bigger problems then your gender.

The trans community would definitely have an easier time with public relations if everyone passed as their preferred genders, and I also wish we all did. But it's friggin' hard and takes a lot of time, and for a wide variety of reasons some people will just never be able to, even with money and health insurance. Should the trans community exclude those people? Some seem to think so (looking at you, /lgbt/), but I don't think that's really fair.
