Americans don't make sports cars.
They make cars that go fastish in a straight line, then fall over at the first corner they reach.
In the UK they're armed with BMW, Vovlo, Subaru, jags and all other manner of proper cars that go fast in straight lines and round corners. So no need for silly yank iron waste. The last police car I had dealings with was a fucking range rover sport.
