Make a custom class and just pick what you like. It helps if you understand how the leveling will work and keep it in mind while making your character, but that sort of min/max shit is optional. I just do it because I'm kind of an autist. But if you're looking for specific quest lines, I would argue that you're approaching the game the wrong way. Explore the world, do the quests that you encounter, just freeball it, man. Fighter's Guild and Mage's Guild are both easy right off the bat though, if you really need to be pointed in a specific direction. Thieves Guild is my personal favorite of the faction quest lines.

Make sure to grab Alchemy and make lots of fatigue potions - then you can sprint around and just chug a potion to regain fatigue and kill shit.

Remember low fatigue = close to zero % chance to hit.

I can recommend conjuration, as you can conjure up daedric weapons on the spot without having to carry that shit around.

Also, weapon classes scales with different main attributes - only weapon that scales with Endurance is spears.

Take that gold with you to the South Wall Cornerclub. It's the club near Cosade's house. Find Only-He-Stands-There, the argonian, in the Cornerclub and buy Feet of Notorgo from him. It's a fortify speed spell. After that, travel to the Balmora Guild of Mages. Talk to Masalinie Merian. She's a Breton. Buy the Soultrap spell from her. Finally, talk to Estirdalin in the Balmora Mage's Guild. She's a high elf. Select "spellmaking" while talking to her. Make a spell with the following effects "Fortify Intelligence 20 pts on Self" and "Soultrap 1 sec on Target." Keep casting on yourself until your the mother fucking flash. Also you can do this with any fortify spell. Merry Xmas.

Its been years since i played so i cant remember location names. Even looked at a map a few minutes ago hoping to remember but couldnt. Basically i started a character. Stole/vendored everything possible from the sarting town. There was a place up north i think where you could buy infinite number of two specific alch ingredients amd i would buy some with the gold from the start. Create health potions(?) amd sell them back for a profit amd keep goimg till my alch was hugh amd i was making potions of insane power. I think i fortified my health amd speed to insane levels. All i really remember was not dying to any mob amd running faster than the poor original xbox could keep up with. I also had a potion of light going which made it harder on the box. Sorry for shitty details.

Danoso andrano at the Ald'hrun temple sells both and is a restocking supplier(according to UESPWiki) that temple is a little north so that may be the one im thinking of.
