Number 3 is where I started so everything before feels like a step back.
I just read the books for most of the lore.
I found ODST to be kind of shit, but atmospherically good.

Its Halo: Combat Evolved.
Hey guys, sup doe?
>>716223290
I think Reach would have been better had it focused on the superior Spartan teams that were deployed on Reach, as their stories were far more interesting compared to the inferior Spartan 3s.
Basically going by Eric Nylund's rendition, I would have been fine with Bungie doing their own take on the story but Noble team was far too bold and drastic in my opinion.
>>716225369
google owns the internet.
i thought you meant differently. also, okay in what respect?

And that is an RTS?

Halo 1 takes place directly after Fall of Reach, like minutes after. 2 is a few weeks/months if I can recall and 3 is immediately after 2.
Playing Reach would honestly just complicate it more as it can seemingly shit on a lot of lore the books establish.

In most movies there isn't really much strategy to the battle, it's just meant to look cool I'd imagine.

billions of inhabited planets, hive planets with continental spanning cities, earth is a planet sized city with basic wall to wall building from ground to outer space
has sadistic space elf pirates, space communists/SJWs, cthulhu has direct control over a species which consumes the biomatter it kills to create more of themselves
ancient star-eating (literal) vampires who can shape reality to will control undying soulless borg-zombies and want to eradicate all life in the galaxy
faggy space elves who are slowly dying
and standing against them all is just a bunch of dudes with laser pointers and irl current generation combat protection, and a few starships.
and when i say a few dudes with laser pointers I mean billions, on the same planet.
but also on hundreds of thousands of other planets simultaneously.
also they tend to run over civilians in their tanks because there are a trillion people on the planet they're fighting on.
eh i read hyperion, good enough for me
