OP here, to me alcoholism is just something you turn to when you dont want to live yet dont want to kill yourself either. Kind of a plateau. In my experience, it helps to realize that your sole purpose is to continue your existence, and any struggle in your way is just a test to weed out the weak, prove that you were built to survive.
