My GF broke up with me after 5 yrs when she realized I wasn't going to change on the kids and marriage thing. Hell, I didn't even want to live together with her. Not because I didn't like the idea necessarily, but because I genuinely think it's better for a relationship to be living apart. In the end it wouldn't have been our kids anyway, they would have been hers. The way she acted when her mom divorced her step dad was the final nail in the coffin. She was a real ice queen and I knew she'd eventually do the same to me if I sticked with her.

So she broke up and found some pseudo alpha to have fun with for a year. I heard she broke up with him too, and is now with some beta faggot who no doubt will get divorce raped. I'm convinced I'll see her again when she realizes life isn't all what is seems, but I'm not holding my breath either.

I work 12 hour days now with a good wage but I live in poverty because of the crippling support payments. A government mandated payment schedule demands that I pay a grand portion of my income and because the payments are so huge, the government doesn't believe that I could possibly be paying so much, so I get audited every year. Even with proof of payment, the revenue agency trims the actual amount of my deductions and I don't see tax returns.

So here's the truth.

I dedicated my early and mid 20s working on my career. I've lost friendships and relationships alike.

All I ever wanted was money and power. Power being the ability to tackle anything without being worried about resources.

But... as I got older, I had a mental breakdown and felt as if I was missing something. Being happy.

As gay as it sounds, it sucks. It wasn't till I was alone in the Alaskan wilderness freezing my ass off that I realize, no matter how many cool things I do, how many friends that I have or how many chicks I bang.

Can't fill the void of being alone.
