My wife is a highschool teacher.

We live in northern virginia. A lot of illegals here. One of her classes has about 1/4th illegal immigrants (she suspects because they speak little to no english). the school can't ask if they are illegal or not. even though its illegal for them to be in the country, they can use our school resources and noone can ask a thing.

So now the class is 7 people larger. And those 7 people require over 50% of the teachers attention because they can't understand what's happening in class. That's 21 students that aren't getting a proper education because we can only teach to the lowest common denominator.
