Back in 93 my uncle went away for a year and returned with pic related. I really wanted the ultra drive 16 bit but got this instead. At first I was disappointed but then I discovered it at 3 cool games built into it. Alexander the child, pavement of discontent, and my favourite bronze mallet.
It was only 8 bit but the games were amazing.

Had the firehouse. The slime would get stuck in the waffle holes in the roof.
Fast forward a few years and we got into pic related. The hyper Sonycast 64. Man this this was like an arcade in your living room. I'll never forget Christmas 99.
My first experience of playing online was with this thing as it had a built in modem. Playing ultimate blue speed runner mouse 2 with my buddies was awesome!! But it only lasted 2 years because sega released their new game machine, the Sega stationbox 128 bits with built in CD player.
I'll tell you guys about this in a bit,

So we're talking around 2002 and Sega release this fucking crazy handheld, the Sega stationbox 128 bits with built in CD player.
Man this fucking thing was insane! It had a real CD player with mono speakers and built in fax. I'll never forget Stevens face when I sent him a fax for the first time lmao. Man all the kids were faxing shit 24/7. Then capcom released ultimate fax versus dial up 64. That's when me and Steve got into competitive gaming.
It's a shame that Sega stopped making hardware.
>>715573262
aw man, when roblox had anything good
all i wanna do is play some fucking legos
>>715573259
they're on steam. I still have some of the CDS, I play them from time to time have a winning streak on the baseball game haha
>>715569346
>>715568339
I got them as birthday/christmas presents. New ones...
>>715569724
gtfo kid.
To be honest after Sega quit making hardware I stopped playin vidya and didn't get back into for long time. But then 2008 came and Amistrad release the Mitre extreme navibox 256 bits.
Bear in mind I started out with an 8 bit. This thing had 3 controller ports and a build in LCD screen for emails. Man even Steve got one so we hooked them up and had crazy LAN parties playing silver chin 64. 6 players playing on the same 4" LCD screen was unheard of back then but man it was unreal.
>>715575257

tonka is like the nokia 3310 of toys.
My next console upgrade came in 2012 and I don't know about you guys but things were starting to feel a bit stale. Nintendo had a great success with their mega tenwiido but the industry need something fresh, something innovative.
Along came Bosch with the their ground breaking Super Plutobox II. Portability was no longer a problem with its built in swivel wheels. Need a built in steering wheel for your racing games? Man they had you covered.
But it was the games that really sold this console. Star ape city rampage man, mega fox gear maker 64, Resident sonic underground racer to name but a few. No longer were we sending faxes but instead we were using Bosch's proprietary android chat app called WatsBosch.
With its petrol fuelled processers churning out more sprites than the previous gens diesel powered machines Bosch really did change the gaming world with this.
Nothing like a game of California Games during a warm summer afternoon.
>>715568558
bitch, get on my level.
>>715569465
>Ronnie Raygun
Dropped.
Sorry guys this was the Bosch console I was talking about. Ass you can see it has the handy swivel wheels and built in steering wheel for arcade racers. This particular model was groundbreaking in that it was powered by petrol and not diesel. This meant that the sprites where much better and in my opinion hyper golden dash fighter 7 just looked better on this.

Well guys here we are 2016 and nintedo are about to realises their latest new console/handheld hybrid. What will it be, what does it look like? We don't know.
Thanks for joking me on a journey through memory lane. Me and Steve played nearly all of the consoles and will be sure to carry on our gaming hobby, I will leave you with a picture of the new Nintendo switch console and what I think might be its features.
Looks like Nintendo were smart and stuck with petrol for this thing. We can see that it's retained its portability with the easy move rear wheels at the back. I'm just shocked at how small this thing looks. New features are rumoured to be wifi capable and bluray. I'm so excited especially now that capcom are confirmed to be releasing Fax fighter vs capcom infinity 4.
Fess up.
Who else had this fucking amazing thing?

I never knew how to play the game properly. Me and my friends would just hold onto a jart, spin our arm around to build up momentum, then let go of the jart and send it soaring into the air. We'd then all run away to safety before it hit the ground. Fun times.
