Are you familiar with the analgesic drug Syndol? Why have they changed its formula in the UK and much of the rest of Europe? They have removed one important ingredient, doxylamine succinate, arguably what made the drug WORK so well in the first place.

Forcing yourself to be social could help you more.
Also think of a depressed state like a path in your mind, you've walked that path until you could do it with your eyes closed probably.
Being positive is another path and if you spend 21 days trying to follow that path, you have a basis for a new habit. After that you'll have an easier time staying in that mindset.

Hey OP, i was planning on taking xtc for the first time tonight (at a large drum and bass festival)

However i have a past of depression and paranoid toughts and i know as soon as i start rolling and i feel my hearth beating harder/faster i might panic. how do i prepare for things like this.

Also i will be going with friend, most of them will be using as well (xtc/mdma crystals/ketamine/cocaine) and have alot of experience with them so they told me they will guide me as best they can.

My group dosent know I take it, my sponser dosent know and neither do my AA friends. Only 2 close friends. Am I being selfish or in the wrong? I don't feel as though I am doing anything wrong but I also don't need it. The desire to use heroin is gone, same for other drugs I was hooked on (cocaine, benzos, methadone) but I still want kratom. Sorry for the ramble but I don't have anyone else to ask, my network would flip shit. They honestly believe that this will lead me back to being a junkie

That's a pretty common symptom, anon. Do you NEED to see a therapist? No. But the problem with depression is that its symptoms make it incredibly difficult to WANT TO, let alone, actually TREAT it. If you CAN do it on your own, congrats man. That said, it won't be easy.

I have anxiety at times, perhaps at all times there is level of anxiety. For the past few weeks I've had insomnia. I was diagnosed with Aspergers a few years ago. I'm fairly high functioning. Have you heard of Character Styles, Stephen M. Johnson? I spoke to him on skype and he said I was schzoid. So aside from the aspergers there are attachment issues. I have a 7yo daughter and she drains me a lot when she's with me because of having to give her attention. I don't know if that is adrenal fatigue or what.

Do you just give your patients a voice of reason and a ventilation for their frustration and problems?
Or do you just give them medication and recommend a local church?
Are you paid through the insurance companies these patients use, or are you paid through the local, state, and federal government through specific programs?

Do you think people actually want to talk to you more often than they're legally required or obligated to by their guardians?
Do you think a greater number of people believe your job is pointless as opposed to those who would recommend someone like you from experience?

I did some research on this (psych student) a few months ago and it honestly sounds like this is way more dangerous then morphine because its broken down by CYP3A4. Also seems to be just as addictive and has very similar side effects. So I just wanted to ask how exactly is it better then morphine?
>>
>>715565821
I let my patients talk and vent and then I advise them and guide them to the right path.

I can't prescribe medication and I don't believe in religion.

Insurance companies and cash from patients.

We have a confidentiality agreement so you can tell me anything as long as you don't plan on harming yourself or anyone.

I think my job is very needed. Therapy has been proven to work.

Dude, I'm not the therapist OP, but you should consider staying away from those fucking dolts.
They aren't all under some strict security contract or regulation. Every new problem you come to those therapists and psychiatrists with gives them leverage over you in persuading you that you actually have some other expensive disorder or problem that could be the cause for you just being lazy and procrastinating!

>Your parents' bad parenting is not a personality or mental disorder.
>Stop handing these people money just to listen to your problems and give you experimental medication
When you can channel your problems through a hobby or video games and smoke pot!

>Background information before question

So I was smoking nothing but pot (salvia literally once or twice) for about a year and a half. - This is high school, junior and senior year -
My mom pulls me out of class one day after finding some scribbles on paper she dug out of my room. She was afraid of what the drawings were (just a couple of silly drawings and some writing) so she threatened court action if I didn't start taking piss tests and see a counselor/therapist. So I take a few piss tests here and there, when I can push myself to pee in front of some random men, and each test comes back negative for everything from tobacco to alcohol.

However, after ONE introductory meeting with a counselor (who specializes in addiction in adults) I'm notified a few months later (whilst being kicked out of my house at 17) that I 'show cases of schizophrenia.'

>So the question
Isn't that a breech of confidentiality? My mother was informed, and I never was.

Then what drug combo will make me into a mental, emotional and possibly physical God?
>>
>>715566160
the idea is that the longer half-life makes the user reach for dope less frequently. Also the high is more less sedating / more able to function

much more ODs associated with methadone however, which is why it's being prescribed less these days

generics are required to have all of the same characteristics as brand (onset of action, absorption, peak levels, etc.)

only a very minor difference is acceptable. More than something like 3% difference in any characteristic will not be FDA approved. Brand name products will cost MUCH more.. . as in 10-100x more. And generally Rx insurnace will not cover them

>>
>>715568235

>>
>>715566472
You definitely don't want to take Lexapro or any other SSRI if you have Asperger's.

Autism spectrum disorders present with a higher than average baseline level of serotonin. You would know this if you were a medical doctor which you are not. Stop giving people advice about medication, therapist.
>>
>>715568265
LSD then?
Btw I know some girls who fought depression by attending rave partys on X/M due to everyone being happy and chill.....

SSRI for depression is the worst idea ever, it cements depression in place. Nobody fucking ever tells you about the brain zaps that last for months after quitting.

Are you sure you're actually depressed? There are many things that can be wrong with the mind, and it's easy to call all bad feelings with the same label. The doctors really like it because it makes things easy for them. Depression? Here's some antidepressants.

Be very careful of how you describe your feelings to doctors. Do not use the words "depressed", "anxious", or such. Be as detailed as possible, but avoid words that are associated with diagnoses.

My room (mothers', she later got abused by like two boyfriends, ditched our house and the state, all her clients, and got caught twice for drinking and driving). I'm now in college, a semester away from an associates, no medication, doing pretty well. I do smoke tobacco though, like, 1 dollar packs. I'm in pretty nice shape too.

I should mention that when I was smoking then, I thought the people across the street were watching our house. There had been mysterious cars in my neighborhood (dark tint vans), stopping where there were no stop signs,. And the people across the street were plumbers with a local company spending multiple days and nights on end in this vacant house. I had caught them looking at our house through black curtains once. I know it might be hard to relate, but I just thought it was plausible, like there were good reasons for our activities to be monitored, not paranoia interfering with my sanity or school work and attendance.

She used that 'paranoia', my grades, and the drawings to later make room for her boyfriend of like 3 months, and his kids, to move in. They split shortly after, and a new abusive boyfriend, whom she later admitted to me had hit her on more than one occasion, had moved in. These were the last, and only two boyfriends of hers' to have ever almost gotten in a fight with me. Now everything is cool though. She's doing much much better, moved back to town, and got most of her clients back. Moved into a little house.

The main problem I'm facing is figuring out how to tell that someone special everything that happened, and everything that happened shortly after.

Yeah, and the two edges are called INDICA and SATIVA.

Most shit is indica, that causes sluggishness and general maladaptiveness. Think benzos.

Sativa makes you clean your house. Think Adderall.

Most strains are something in between though and nobody can know how one affects them unless they try themselves.
