Depends how i am feeling, i've ridden so fast so many times i don't get a thrill from it anymore or even feel anything while clocking 260km/h down the freeway on my other bike.

I've gotten 7-8 speeding tickets. Most of them following traffic or not realizing I was going 12-13 over on nice empty road days. When I'm in heavy traffic I drive with the traffic. I've slowed down on the open roads anymore though. Sick of getting tickets.

I hire a lot of cars for work and I hit 100mph in every car I hire. It's become a bit of a ritual.

In January I was given an Aston Martin V12 Vantage S for a few days. Got it up to 140mph on the M1. Good times. Some fucker decided to pull out on me in a shit people carrier and I had to hard brake down to 70

Ok, so I live in the city where there is fuck tons of traffic so going fast usually means 90-110mph. With that said, I decided I wanted to go 90-110mph pretty much all the time. I bought a Tan Murano because who the fuck is going to even think that i'll be speeding. I had a V1 radar detector hardwired in and I tinted the windows to like 15% all around. I just cruise 90-110 everywhere now.

Fastest I've ever gone was about 125mph on my Yam 600 Fazer.

I was at a set of lights on red and an Audi was revving his engine next to me. Which just made me laugh, cos car drivers have no idea about bike acceleration.

When the light hit green, I opened up and left him behind. Didn't even open up, I just pulled away quicker than sensible.

Anyway, when I hit 70mph (in a 60 zone) I saw this guy screwing up behind me, so I gently opened the throttle.

I was doing 125 when I realised I was being a complete nob. So I eased off and dropped back down to around 80.

Yeah, I've heard the similar things said about the Hornet 900 compared to the 600.

Bandit's aren't like that though, the 1200 is the 600 but bigger. Still a great engine, just more power. The low end power is similar, but the 1200 has waaaaay more power up at the high end.

If you're really after a Bandit I'd say go for the 1200 and treat it with a lot of respect, so long as you're not a dumbass and not pinning the throttle as soon as you get on it you'll be fine as a first bike. The 1200 was my first big bike.

I just go with the flow of traffic unless it's like 15 or more over in which case i stay on the right.

I do however have a real peeve for drivers who cut into my lane, speed away then just cut around every other car in front of me. So when there are two cars to my left where one is ahead of me and the other is a speeder behind me catching up fast...i'll speed up to close the gap with the car in the front of me so the speeder can't cut in front of me.

I'm in California so 65 is the limit on most highways. I average about 72mph in a car.

I used to drive fast-ish, 85 - 90 on my commute that ranges from 50-65 on the highway.

Since I started smoking weed I just chill the fuck out and go the speed limit.

I was only hitting the top of 4th gear and had another gear to go, but I was running out of road.

On the old 'needle' speedometers there was always a resting pin the needles sat on when the engine was off. It was just below the 0.

I drive the speed limit. If I get another moving violation I could lose my license and have to pay a $1200 surcharge to get it back.

I've been through that and having a work use only license. It sucked. I had to go see a judge with driving records and everything. Ten fucking pages of speeding tickets. Two in one day one time. Two days in a row another time.

I drive at the speed limit, or just under.

I carry plenty of space in front of me on the interstate so people can easily merge in. I pick a lane and stay in it.

My friends laugh and call me grandpa, but I paid good money for my car and Im not going to fuck it up so I can launch off a green light to get to the next red light 5 seconds faster than the guy behind me.

Truth. I was in a 350z that caught gravel going 60 on a curve and my side of the car smashed into a lightpole. I remember nothing except being pried from the remains of the car by bystanders/firefighters and then black oit and wake up in hospital
