inb4 a troll/joke, I take it seriously on purpose

it's literally how very religious people think like
-give them an interpretation
-they're so blind they either take it as a something obvious, and that, repeated a thousand times, turns into a truth, a dogma
-tell them it's not possible, because cat would have to have like a hundred or so vertebrae
-"faith isn't about knowing, it's about believing"

they're trying to reason illogical shit with faith, because it'll explain everything, and the dumber you are, the easier and more obvious it becomes a "miracle" and whatnot

Sun does not orbit earth, earth obits sun. - Discovered in 1600's.

Earth orbits sun due to gravity- discovered in 1600's isaac newton.

Gravity is inversely proportional to the sum of the distance-isaac newton

((g(m)(me))/r) = m(g)
The gravitational constant or 6.67 x 10^-11 times the mass of an object, times the mass of the earth divided by the distance of the object from the earth is equal to the mass of an object multiplied by the gravitational field.

The stupidity contained in this phrase is astonishing. A solar system can be heliocentric, although ours isn't really. Our galaxy is not heliocentric. Our universe most definitely is not.

>However you are wrong, they do not orbit eachother, don't be fucking retarded please.

technically, that's true.

the sun, and each planet orbit around their shared centre of mass (the barycenter).

its just that with about a million times the mass of the earth, the sun's orbital barycenter is inside the solar body, and thus barely noticeable. However, the barycenter of sol-jupiter IS outside the sun - just.

The amount that its "outside" the centre of the sun (or of any star), and the resultant wobble, is one of the methods used to detect extrasolar planets orbiting other stars. An alien civilisation training its telescopes on our star would be able to detect the wobble of our star and know that there is a huge gas giant far out from it.

Correction, the Sun orbits the center of gravity between the earth and the sun which is probably the length of a pencil from the middle of the sun, so it doesn't actually go around the earth, What we mean by "orbit" .

Explain why there would antigravity please, just because a magnet has 2 opposite sides with differing attractions to them doesn't apply to the force we call gravity.
>>
>>715218803
Fool. Any point can be the center of the universe. We just generally say the earth orbits the sun because the math is easier. But, if you're willing to work with parametric equations, then it's quite easy to show the sun (and everything else) orbits the earth. Get's nastier to show everything orbits a person, but it could be done with PDEs.

Gravitational pull and magnetic force are completely different topics.

>>
>>715218803
sorry for replying to this bait but you already posted this shit thread.
>>
>>715225779
nope. Every nonidiot kid knows that gravity is nothing else than huge mass of earth particles attracting smaller masses of everything else particles. Seriously, thats like grade 5 topic. Even though they don't teach it explictly at school. It's just obvious.
>>
>>715221538
discworld kek
>>
>>715225884
And do you understand why?
Einstein had colorful visuals to explain the observed effect. But nobody had any leads on the cause of the effect.
Recent breakthroughs have indicated gravitional force appears to be generated by increasing quanticle interaction by creating dense concentrations of energy. This also proportionally links to observed size of space/time.
Magnetic force is a completely different phenomenon.
>>
>>715226020
there are different types of forces between particles but they all work because electrons switch places pretty easily. With magnetism these fuckers are even more eager to do so.
No magic at all, even providing we can't explain it whole.

from: Universe Today
Space and astronomy news

I dont want to be rude or pretentious but that sounds like a farytale explaining the work of our brain, instead of thinking in ways of discovering new more efficient energy sources and actually making life on earth easier new age "science" is giving us maximal digitalisation, wifi for the whole world in order to gather information. AND farytale about dreaming of universe and Mars colonisation meanwhile money god on earth and that's the only truth given us by the same people giving us mainstream media science.

>>
>>715218803
The sun doesn't orbit around the Earth? I'm pretty sure it's Earth that orbits the sun.
>>
>>715231207
No orbits function in conjuction to gravity, the larger the mass = more gravity = larger chance of objects with smaller masses orbiting around larger mass. Also, distance does play into effect aswell, the moon isn't orbiting the sun as much as it is earth.
>>
>>715232746
