Buy a lot of land to protect. Start a research company to develop cultivars of vegetables that can be grown in extreme climates and poor soils. They may not be profitable but it will give people better self-sufficiency of nutrition instead of factory-farm growing one or two things in each place and shipping them around the globe. E.g. if I can make a cole crop grow in the African savanna and then distribute seeds the legacy would be enormous.

As long as you don't fuck with anyone else, you can basically do whatever you want. No victimless crimes and a fully voluntary market.

It would be the first settlement of this kind on earth and, if successful, more towns may decide to follow the model.

The libertarian model CAN work, and rather than trying to wait on votes to move us into power, we just need to cut the middle man and implement our policies directly.

Well, libertarianism is based on capitalism. And I'm not saying I would keep ownership, but for a city to be founded on a libertarian model it would take a capitalist to jumpstart all the business in that town.

You could sell land for dirt cheap and encourage people to build there with little/no taxes. It would quickly become a capitalist/libertarian mecca.

Buy an island in the south pacific. Travel to Thailand, and Indonesia, purchase a few choice lolis from broke ass rural farm families. Spend my days buried balls deep in them until the local authorities get tired of my depredations, and have me assassinated.

You would be doing far more for society if you started businesses that paid decent wages. You'd profit and get more cash, it would give productive members of society opportunity.

Charities are usually run by swindlers often times with 90%+ going to "administration", bloated salaries of the overseers who determine who should get paid the remaining 10%. Not to mention that final 10% usually winds up going to 3rd world countries corrupt local charities (often ran by the local warlord) and maybe a small small percentage helps who you wanted. Charities are best if given direct. If you're well off and know a hard working man that's struggling to support his family, help him direct. If you have disabled in your family that need to be supported, give direct. That's the only way charity or giving away cash becomes a positive thing, otherwise it's the most corrupt thing on earth. A teat to be suckled at best and an all out scam usually.
