Light firecrackers, they go out due to weather.

Another life claimed by Everest.
>>
>>714418231
Shit that's a lot of firecrackers, anyone got the numbers of the destructive force that could bring?
>>
>>714418296
dont they use a fuse that can even keep burning under water?
>>
>>714418231
I got to hand it to the mountain

Alright how about this?
>>
>>714418436
what the fuck is a diamond exoplanet?

the match ups so far have been "can you blow this thing up?"
>>
>>714418312
Yes, but don't forget how much mountain the Everest is!
>>
>>714418436
Bazookas obviously. Exoplanet would not be destroyed but would realize can reach it's core then would die of depression.
>>
>>714418598
nothing can*
>>
>>714418564
yes its a simple number crunching problem, if you have enough explosives you can blow up anything.
>>
>>714418598
>>714418630
its*

fuck
>>
>>714418657
just rewrite the post.
>>
>>714418378
Yes
>>
>>714418744
then the weather wouldn't blow out the fuse.

in fact how would you stop a fuse without just cutting it?
>>
>>714418231
Also depends on how they're placed, what kind, how snowy the mountain is (it could absorb some of the boom).

Assuming energy density of flash powder at ~10 kJ/g

Assuming there are about 5 grams per firecracker (This could vary but apparently its about how much flash powder is in one m80)

One trillion firecrackers.

1,000,000,000,000 x 5 grams = 5,000,000,000,000

5,000,000,000,000 x 10 = 10 trillion joules of energy. Something like 1000 times more energy than the atomic bomb at Hiroshima.

So probably would do some damage.

An exoplanet is every planet that isn't your home planet. It's entirely redundant when talking about astronomy, he just wants to sound smart.
>>
well when i crunch the number and a bit of research it take about 2092 gigajoule of energy to blow you the mount everest and 1 trillion produce about 6000 gigajoule of energy so ye firecracker would win
>>
>>714419260
>>714419333
thanks for crunching the numbers guys.
>>
>>714419324
It's actually any planet that doesn't orbit the sun. In simple terms, every planet other than Mercury, Venus, The Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune (maybe also Pluto) is an exoplanet.
>>
>>714418231
the only way those things would have any effect on the mountain is if you emptied out the powder from each one into a bigger container like a barrel (a big one, because a trillion is a lot). Then you would have to tamp the powder down to compress it really tight. Then seal the barrel so it is airtight, with just a fuse coming out of it (you could make this from about 100,000 fuses all twisted together. Light that MoFo and run away. There will be a big bang and you will have dislodged a few rocks, made a small crater, and maybe caused an avalanche. But it depends how far up you were. Go too high up and there won't be enough oxygen for the fuse to burn. You could probably call it a tie, but that would not be absolutely correct, because after the showdown, the mountain is injured but still there, while the barrel and all of its contents was blown to bits. Score 1-0 to the mountain (on a technicality, the opponent left the playing field and failed to return).
>>
>>714420031
After enough avalanches there will be no snow left. Mountain dies of dehydration ggez
>>
>>714418231
Wouldn't the amount of energy required to blow up a mountain be equal to the energy spent dismantling it piece by piece? It would just happen faster.
>>
To a physicist a mountain is just a sphere.
>>
>>714418436
does the bazookz got roketz? if not i zon't zhink it will whin....
>>
>>714418231
The 1000 US Marines and 100,000 redcoats will destroy Mount Everest together
>>
>>714419647
Fuck you, Pluto is a planet.
>>
>>714421291
No it's not
